We bought this for our camper. It took my husband less than 30 minutes to install. It heats our toy hauler fairly well. I do have a small heated in the toy hauler part just because there is 2 doors in there that lead to the outside + big windows so that room does stay cooler. The only thing I would change is the sound. I do not like the “flame” sound that it gives so I do not turn that feature on. I do like that this fireplace gives multiple color options. ... show more

Enjoy this fireplace, looks decent and it heats our basement area well after running for about an hour. The remote isn’t great.. the buttons don’t work all that well and requires pressing pretty hard or several times to power off/on on the remote, but easy enough to use the buttons on the unit. The media could not be loaded. love it, but when purchased also had to order trim fire insert had on way of mounting it together with trim and onto the wall of fireplace, home made our own mount to make it fit view picture and video

First of all, check your size opening, and then find an insert. I was able to find an insert that worked for an actual fireplace opening, but the height of the opening was too high; with this trim kit, I was able to use the insert in the fireplace opening, cut drafts, and use a restored antique fireplace mantle because of this trim kit. My fireplace looks fantastic but would of been a failed project without this trim kit. ... show more
