    • Amazing unit make sure you've got some way to drain water
This is really a good item to have I live in a early 20th century apartment building in the urban center of Miami and the wall unit air conditioners barely cool down the entire space. This air conditioner helps balance out and cool down the entire apartment. The only negative thing I would say --and it's not really the a/c's fault at all-- is that, due to the high humidity levels in Miami as well as the heat of late summer, the amount of water that condenses in the unit is huge! So much so that I inadvertently almost flooded my kitchen and living room as a result. But note: it's not the unit's fault it's simply that water will have nowhere to go. You keep in mind that cold air falls and hot air rises so try to put this in a higher elevation I put it above a table and it also helps with the water draining appropriately. ... show more

    • UPDATE: Working now, kinda noisy but works.
Bought this unit for my RV, hooked everything up, but compressor kicks on, blows cold for about 30 seconds then kicks off and only blows room temperature air. Maybe somewhere in the delivery process, it was placed on its side, but who knows? So I'm letting it sit for a day, then will try it again. I even waited the 4 hours like the sticker said before turning on. UPDATE: I let it sit a few more hours, now it seems to be working OK. Kinda noisy but blowing cold air. Will probably have to buy a second one to keep the entire RV (34' motorhome). Still cheaper than replacing two roof air conditioners. ... show more

Ok, my house isn’t cold. I am around 75-76 degrees. I lost my ac on Sunday. I ordered this. Delivery was Friday. It came in today on Thursday. I was sleeping in my car since Sunday using my gas and car a/c. The noise is nothing. I don’t know why whiners are complaining about it. I have a 998 sq ft house. This is keeping my living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom at around ~ 75 degrees. I plan to order 4 more as soon as I can afford it. One for every room. This is the first night I didn’t get so hot that I vomited, slept in my car, or had to go to my moms house at midnight. ... show more

It fits perfectly in my little apartment, the windows and other accessories are easy to assemble and the cooling effect is very fast and good. Equipped with a remote control, the window is some distance from my bed, it is easy to control with the remote control. It's also very easy to move, I'm going to move in a few days, if it's the big air conditioner before, I don't think I can take it with me. ... show more

This AC unit is so powerful, I live in a really hot area and my AC system decided to give up working. Instead of spending hundreds on getting the whole system fixed, I decided to by this guy.
