As the annual temperatures seem to big getting worse each year, the freezer has been through two excessive heat periods, two in August with temperatures of 112 on our balcony. This is a great little freezer. Much better than the Whynter freezer that I bought, which has to be precisely level to work. This one you just plug in, turn the freezer knob [I keep mine at 5 out of 6] and fill all the way up. Everything stays frozen including ice cream.
