This is an awesome chest freezer for an apartment or household (either inside or in garage) with limited space. I got the red color, and it is quite striking. It frankly looks awesome. A white or black freezer would have been more universally "easy" to fit in, but I think the red looks great. It really pops. Construction of the freezer is high quality. I love Antarctic Star as I have many items from them and I have never been disappointed. Their appliances always feel well constructed with solid materials. Once I let this sit for 4 hours to allow the freezer liquid to settle I was able to turn it on. I have my freezer set to -17F and it takes about a day to get there. You can see the frost build up inside and it feels nice and cold. The control panel is easy to use and understand with the instructions basically right on the LED. It runs pretty quiet. It came with 2 baskets and an ice scraper which is nice as well. The capacity is small, but perfect for a single person or small family. Conservatively we could store like 20 packages of store bought chicken tenderloins in here which is more than enough for our needs. Another great product from Antarctic Star!

We buy in bulk whenever meat is on sale but that usually means we go without other items due to space constraints in our current fridge/freezer. This chest freezer was the answer. Very visually appealing and great size for overflow. It has 2 convenience baskets that is handy for putting smaller or opened items in. When we 1st plugged in temp was reading 67 degrees and within 2 hrs it was reading 0 degrees. It has been maintaining 0 degrees even after opening to get something out. Great solution to allow us to save money buying in bulk when possible. Great quality and workmanship. Only small issue was the cord should be another 12” longer.

This item is a small 3.2 cf deep freeze. It's a little bit larger in stature than a dorm mini fridge. It is surprisingly light and will hold more than you'd expect. It comes with two plastic hanging baskets for your smaller items. It has a front control panel at the bottom that allows you to adjust the temperature setting. The inner lining is a metal composite material that should make cleaning a breeze. As for mine, I have it in the garage and with my testing it easily holds 135 Little Debbie Christmas cakes (do not judge) and 10 ham steaks and still has room for the hanging baskets. Ultimately, I plan on moving this to my daughter's apartment when she moves out and until then, well... I have some cold hard Christmas Cakes!! I have chosen to rate this product 5 stars. Overall, this unit looks great, has virtually no noise and uses very little energy. It's size is great for a small apartment or mancave. If you need access to a quality small freezer, you may want to give this one a look! I'd definitely recommend. Criteria for Stars: 1 - Total rip off, doesn't perform basic advertised functions or not product advertised. I would likely RETURN and would NEVER recommend. 2 - Not worth the money. Performs some of the basic advertised functions, but likely not all, and ultimately was deemed as not providing enough value for the money spent. I would not buy again, and would likely not recommend unless the buyer had a very specific use case. 3 - It performs the basic functions as advertised, and has some usefulness at the price point, but doesn't work for all of the reasons I purchased. I would likely not buy again, and would only recommend if buyer understood usefulness limitations. 4 - It performs most all of the features I purchased it for, but has limitations. I would likely buy again and would recommend. 5 - Completely as advertised and likely exceeded expectations. Is of high quality and well shipped. I would totally buy again and recommend.
