I was looking for a small freezer that I could keep upstairs in my office/bedroom for occasional snacks, ice cream, and desserts, especially for nighttime use. Since we also have a one-year-old toddler who likes to open everything, I specifically wanted a compact freezer that could be secured with a lock. I found this freezer on Amazon during a sale and got it at an excellent price. The build quality is surprisingly good for its size and price. It arrived extremely well packaged, with plenty of protective material on all sides. The entire exterior was also covered with a protective plastic film, which helped prevent scratches during shipping. You simply remove it after installation and the finish looks really nice. The internal storage space is better than I expected. It has both an upper and lower section, giving you a good amount of usable space for a compact freezer. I can keep a small amount of ice cream and other frozen items in the lower section, while the upper section can accommodate two plastic baskets for organizing additional food. I also uploaded a video showing the actual storage capacity and how much I can fit inside. One thing I don't particularly like is the thermostat placement. The temperature control is located on the back of the freezer, which isn't very convenient if you need to adjust it frequently. However, because this is a freezer, you generally set the temperature once and don't need to touch it very often, so it isn't a major issue. For toddler safety, I purchased a separate fingerprint lock from Amazon and attached it to the freezer door. This has worked really well for my situation because it prevents my toddler from constantly opening the freezer. Performance has been excellent. The freezer cools down quickly, maintains the temperature well, and is surprisingly quiet. The low noise level is especially important since I keep it upstairs in a bedroom/office area. After reaching the desired temperature, I noticed the power consumption settles around 40 watts or so, which I think is quite reasonable for a compact freezer. The main downside is that this is a manual-defrost freezer. Ice will gradually accumulate inside over time, so you will need to periodically defrost and clean it. That's something to keep in mind if you're looking for a completely maintenance-free freezer. Overall, I'm very impressed with the size, storage capacity, build quality, cooling performance, low noise, and energy consumption, especially considering the sale price I paid. For anyone looking for a compact freezer for an office, bedroom, basement, or additional food storage, I think this is an excellent option. Just remember that it requires occasional manual defrosting. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you can find it on sale.

This is a beautiful freezer, fits my retro diner theme. The red is classic cola red. It is lightweight and easy to set up. The box slid up and i was able to open it and lift it on the shelf by myself. The handle is for decoration only, you open it from the handle indentions on top. I let it sit for 24 hours before plugging it in and once plugged in, it started chilling immediately. Before you set your temperature, on the first time using the freezer, set it to 7. After 24-48 hours turn it to your preferred temp. It came with a tiny ice tray meant for a minifridge freezer. You could fit full size trays, but I bought the Rufus recommended Camco rv fridge trays and i could stack four of them and have almost full shelf space left. Trays that make smaller cubed ice work best in this type of freezer as they freeze faster. This unit is too tall to fit under a top cabinet and I would not advise it. I suggest putting it on 24"sq space. Leave room on each side for air. Get a 24" mat or something to keep it still. It will scoot on slick surfaces when you open it. Manual defrost. It will frost over during first chilling. That is normal. It is as deep as wide. The shelves are high enough for boxes of breyer ice cream or stacks of frozen veges.. the wire part of the top shelf can be removed. The bottom part is level and not sloped. I love it. It started up immediately, is cold. I pray it lasts me for years to come. Good luck!

We love this little power house! She's small but mighty. You can actually pack a lot of meat in this, especially if you put it in freezer bags. That's why I purchased it to hold my meat. Right now I have 12 containers of soup I froze for my meal prep. Also my raspberries, Brussel sprouts, tortellini and a small ice tray. Good space for what I need it for. It keeps it's cold temperature exceptionally well. Im am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

BUYER BEWARE As recommended I let this refrigerator/freezer sit for a while before I plugged it in. I put the setting on seven the refrigerator after three days didn’t get any colder than 45°. The freezer/chiller part did not work. I would go with another brand returning it.

I purchased this little fridge for a hide-a-way option for my office. Its worked out great. It fit just right into my cabinets. No one even knows its their. My co-workers call it my Whiskey Fridge lol. Because it has a small freezer, it get really cold keeps my drinks and lunch just right!! I would buy this again and definitely recommend it!!
