Nice and cold It’s a portable a/c so don’t expect to function as a package unit or split system. It is nothing more than a heat remover. Uses r32 refrigerant which is the newest a2l refrigerant. It cycles on and off potentially to go into a type of defrost mode. Doesn’t fill up with condensate too quickly. 8000k btu capacity i find that hard to believe but thats the rating. 15amp circuit and for the price you shouldn’t expect too much but it does cool. Make sure to vent through window to outside. The exhaust hoses gets hot, also know that while the unit cools it also heats if that makes sense. ... show more

Was worried about price. Since I can’t remove my screen and window unit was out of the question. This is pretty pricey and the instructions didn’t make any sense when it came to the draining tube. They like stopped showing how to put it today and went straight to the remote control potion. Not terribly loud. And I like that you can set it to a certain temperature and it will shut off instead of staying on constantly. Also love that it comes with a remote so I’m able to adjust it from bed. ... show more

It arrived in perfect condition and was totally easy to setup, i like the idea that it does not heavily tax my power grid and cools quickly., I’m using it in a recording studio and appreciate the remote control so i can trun it off when doing takes. I tried using this for first time and it definitely did not cool off my area the square footage of the area I'm trying to pull is less than what it says is able to pull on the description but it definitely did not cool down the room enough to say it was working. I could not get it to rent out the window even though the measurements for the same and it should have fit but I guess that's a new problem. I'll continue to try to see if I can get it to work but I really didn't want to have to cut holes in the side of my house for ventilation ... show more

It cools down my room and it's a super small space I love it so much...its worth it if you wanna just keep a small space cool. Also I do gotta worry about my cat. She likes to mess with the hose thinking it's a scratching post Haha But overall I'd buy this product over and over again if I could
