It's very nice, comes with it's own pouch to store it in (though I've lost that) and has the basics of what you might need for a desk set up. Unfortunately, the data transfer speeds aren't quite what I need now, (for the Nexdock as a monitor) but that's my fault for not future proofing and going with a model with very high speeds. I purchased this for my steamdeck and it has been useful for so much more I want to purchase a second just to have on hand everywhere! Steamdeck: works great for plugging in an external keyboard and mouse works like a charm! The hdmi out feature also displays my games such as Horizon Zero Dawn out to my Samsung 65” tv beautifully! iPad 11” pro: I did not originally purchase this for my fire department iPad as many Apple products require them to be from apple. Let me tell you… this also works for my iPad to hook up a keyboard and mouse for easily doing reports. I just had to google shortcuts to be able to go home without swiping on my iPad display. Another very welcome feature of this hub is the hdmi out also works! I am able to plug my iPad in to our projector and mirror my display for our fire drills. Also still having the mouse and keyboard attached it is easy to navigate and show everyone at the firehouse! Extra knowledge you should know: Disney plus and Amazon video (have not tested Netflix) works well with the hdmi out feature of this hub. I am also able to show movies down at the firehouse through the projector utilizing this hub! The extra usb slots are great and they are very fast. Having the sd card slot is also a very welcome feature. All in all I give this 5 stars because I cannot give it more. This little hub is well worth $50+ but I’m glad it’s not. I was searching for a great hub for my laptop and iPad Air. I found this one and so far it has worked out great with some things. It does everything that it’s rated for. It has great download speed, it plays 4K rated data. But the main reason I bought it was for travel so my wife and I can stream Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, etc… while on travel. And it does except it does not charge while in use. It’s rated for 100 watts of power but while in use both my Laptop and IPad Air do not charge. It’s too much power draw while in use for streaming. However, it will charge if the Electronics are not in use but that kind of defeats the purpose of why I bought it. This isn’t to discourage anyone from a great product. I just thought someone should be transparent about its charging capabilities while in use which is why it has 4 stars for me. ... show more

This device works really well, allowing my CarPlay to work wirelessly. I have a Toyota hybrid and the CarPlay is wired. But I plug this thing in and my iPhone works wirelessly to connect to CarPlay in my car. Had it for four or five months works pretty flawlessly. This HUB is fantastic! I needed a HUB with extra USB- C ports for my iPad because I wanted to be able to both charge it and connect my portable SSD drive. I am a graphic designer and purchased the iPad for on the go work tablet/computer. This HUB is great for this, I had my iPad connected to power, a wired keyboard, my SSD drive and my corded German Maestro headphones connected to it and everything worked flawlessly. Keep purchasing more of these hubs for a business since they work with 4K monitors and have the basic features needed. I have purchased around 15 of these units over the last 2 years and have only had one fail. Not bad considering they are in a work environment and get used every day.
