Update After my original review Anker customer service contacted me and offered a different product to try but unfortunately the replacement that they send was a return defective product. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT A COMPANY LIKE ANKER WOULD SEND ME DEFECTIVE RETURN PRODUCT AS REPLACEMENT WITH OUT MAKING SURE IT WORKS PROPERLY . My experience is very negative 👎. I wanted to replace my old power bar with new Anker power strip but unfortunately for me it doesn’t work(pictures attached) I can’t really use all 3 outlets as they are too close to my needs. Actually Anker power strip is bigger than my old one but it cannot even hold 2 power adapters and a nite light, I wished they had listed the space between each outlet. I want to tell you some detail about this product. This PowerPort Strip 3 can work with input voltage 100~240V, you can tell from the Amazon description(Note: Supports international 100-240V 50/60Hz outlets.). But it says support 125V on the bottom(from the photo) . I contacted Anker and the engineer team said that there have verified that the PowerPort Strip 3 can work with input voltage 100V - 240V. According to the new changes in FCC(Federal Communications Commission) certification requirements, it is not allowed to print “100V - 240V" on the product itself. That's why it's different between the Amazon Note and the product description. So it can be used overseas if you have the appropriate plug adapter. Just remember if you use it this way, don’t forget that if you plug anything into it, the device you plug in would need to be capable of 240V too(not a converter). The USB outputs will work fine.     • High pitch tone, QA fail... Anker saves the day
Well packaged as are all anker products. I planned on using this in my garage to give me some flexibility as the north facing wall only has two outlets. Everything was working fine until I had one device plugged into an outlet and one device or battery charging via usb. This anker charger began to produce a loud high pitched tone. Only got worse when I tried to charge two iPhones. I thought the problem was the usb chargers, which aren’t rapid chargers, but a day after not using the usb’s And strictly the outlets I began to hear the high pitched tone. Sadly this is going back. Wasted time and am still looking for a surge protector with multiple usb’s. Update: not long after posting this review Anker customer service reached out to see how they could help. They sent a new power strip and apologized for the defective unit I received. The replacement works great! Anker fixed an issue I had and I appreciate that a lot. Thanks Anker! ... show more

    • Unsurpassed charging speed
I am a very loyal customer of Anker, but this product exceeded my expectations. The product description says it charges with a total of 18W across the three powerIQ USB charging ports. However, I plugged in my iphone X and measured the charging power to be 22.8W. In other words, this unassuming power strip ROCKS the charging speed. (Note: charging speed seems to have to do with what % the battery is charged - from my measurements it seems to start off fast and then slow down as the phone gets closer to 100%.) Other features: it has 3 tiny blue lights, so if you're charging in your bedroom you may need to cover the lights with tape. Fortunately it defaults to "on" when you plug it in, and I haven't had issues with it turning itself off. (Note: in contrast, if you're considering the round charger it defaults to "off" and turns itself off when you unplug all the cables.) ... show more

I was so impressed by this surge protector made by Anker, I used to have a conventional product on my desk. It is very cheap, but I regretted once I used it. It has 6 AC outlets, but I can use 3 of them at most. I hate the layout. I cannot plug in my third or fourth adapter! The larger space of Anker surge protector is such an amazing design for me. I can plug in my 3 adapters at the same time, and the most important part for me is that I can free the 4-USB chargers and just plug the cables in the surge protector. This is really convenient for me, making my desk clean. It is not cheap but definitely a good investment. The button is elegant and feels quite different with other surge protectors I used. The product also has an internal safety mechanism on each outlet. This is awesome as I always read books with my son on the table and it really bothers me if my son messes up my devices. ... show more

I sent this product back - it said that the USBs are for fast charging, but that is not correct, it is normal charge for phones. There is not enough space between the three plug sockets. Additionally, it is a strange curved shape, so it rocks and falls to its side. Very disappointed as Anker are one of the best brands around and I expected more from them. I still think that they make the best battery packs, but this product was very expensive and poorly designed. ... show more

I travel extensively, and after a whole lot of time, I’ve determined that the single best way and less intrusive bulky way to connect anywhere is the world you find yourself is to take a plug adapter and a strip. Nowadays you have your iPhone, laptop, watch, and whatever else to charge. Why bring along several international plug solutions when you can just bring one international plug and connect that to the strip. Everything else plugs into the strip, wether it’s USB or strait out normal power plug. The exception would be u can bring an extra laptop international plug for when u leave the strip at the hotel and take your laptop somewhere else. It’s great! This product is portable , light, fits in your carry on or back pack, and it’s the great dependable ANKER quality. Can’t go wrong! ... show more

Great little strip, fits all my usb charge cables nicely and I can use all three outlets with standard 3 pronged connectors. Only downside is that it does not have friendly access to old-timey brick chargers if you plan on using all three with bricks. I love that the connection is flat and extends the cord to the right. It's just the layout I needed, although if you need to travel the cord left, it might lose half a foot in length. Total length is about 5ft for the cord only, plus 9 inches for the power strip. ... show more
