I recently bought a new desk that allows for adjustable height because some times of the day I feel more productive standing up than sitting. On the desk sits my desk top computer keyboard and dual screens, a laptop, a wireless charging station for my phone, two charging stations for handheld 2-way radios, and a couple universal USB cables for various charging of devices. I wanted something simple and clean looking that I could mount to the rear of the metal desk drawer shield on back and have enough of a longer cord so that if, or when, I re-arrange my office space, I can deal with just about any wall plug option that would otherwise prove frustrating with a shorter cord. Some cords are less than 3ft, and had the 10ft corded unit been available at the time in Black, I would have opted for the even longer cord still yet. The convenience this offers me as far as outlets and USB adaptations is more than enough even for my busy desk needs and the creatively diverse lineup Anker offers as options for a few other custom office/home use applications really has been helpful in keeping wiring under control and simplified from dual USB wall ports for cell phone charging, and behind the Television setup in the family room, to the most basic 3 way plug, dual USB connection mini-plug with a 10ft cable for the WiFi stealth installation above a curio cabinet. ... show more

I’ve been using this for about a year for my computer setup and it has been great to use. The 3 usb charging port is nice as I have some accessories that need to run off of usb power and there is plenty of space with the ports spaced out to plug them all in.

Every Anker product I've had has been great and this completely follows the rule. The outlets facing different directions is an amazing way to having multiple items connected without having to worry about all the different charger shapes fitting together.     • 4000 joules of surge protection, oh my!
I'm using this to plug my grow lights into. I have some T8 Fluorescents but mostly LED stick lights. They weigh nothing but the cords are not long enough to reach to the wall outlets. I can set this on the top shelf in the middle and all the cords will reach it, plus it has USB ports for me to plug my USB fans (for cooling the LED lights) into. Or there are enough outlets left (and they are well spaced so there is plenty of room) that I could use the wall wart for the fans. I plug a GFCI adapter into the wall outlet, plug a timer into that, plug this into the timer, and then I can plug all my lights into the surge protector. The T8s draw .53A each, and the LED stick lights only draw 1/3rd of an amp, so I'm not getting even close to the capacity of this device. I could have used another couple feet on the cord length but this is near enough. It does its job. If you're looking for a surge protector, don't accept anything with less than 2000 joules capacity. I weeded out so many "surge protectors" that had like 250 or 350 joules. I cannot imagine what those are good for. Just marketing hype. Glad I found this one. ... show more
