  • great for canoeing
the 260-280 size is great for solo canoeing (16 ft old town canoe). the longer length is good for sitting closer to the middle of the canoe where it is wider, and the shorter length is fine for sitting close to the stern. The little hook cuts are kind of dumb and they catch weeds, i would rather just have that paddle surface area back. ... show more

  • Solid Paddle with Some Versatility
Color: Green Size: 220-240 cm/86-94"
A solid, no-nonsense paddle that performs well. The blade design gives a good mix of power and cadence, and it doesn’t flex much, which helps when you need extra pull. Adjustability is a big plus — great for different kayaks or paddlers. Not my favorite shape overall, but definitely a great backup or loaner paddle. The fiberglass shaft also makes it pretty light weight. Reliable and well-built. Overall a good value for the price. ... show more

  • lightweight, floats like a champ, and looks slick doing it. Total win for weekend warriors
Honestly, this paddle rocks. I’ve taken it out a bunch of times now, and it hits that perfect mix of lightweight and tough. The fiberglass shaft feels super solid but doesn’t wear out your arms like some of those heavier metal ones. After a few hours on the water, you really appreciate that. The adjustable length is clutch—I use it on different kayaks, and switching between sizes is quick and easy. The lock feels tight, no wobble or play at all. The blades are sturdy plastic, great for pushing off rocks or sand without stressing about cracks. They move through the water smooth and quiet, which is nice when you’re fishing or just zoning out on a calm lake. And yeah, it floats! I dropped it once and watched it pop right back up like a cork. Total lifesaver. The drip rings do a decent job keeping the water off too—no soggy lap situation here. If you’re into kayak fishing, exploring, or just cruising around for fun, this paddle totally delivers. It feels pro without costing pro-level money. ... show more

  • Good collapsible kayak paddle
This is a nice, intermediate kayak paddle. It isn't too heavy and it's easy to assemble and disassemble. I really like how the angles can be adjusted, it really felt like I could dial in my paddling action. I got the mid sized option - 240-260cm and it felt doable for a range of heights sitting on an inflatable SUP. The quick release tabs are positioned in a place where you might accidentally hit them while paddling and that was a bit stressful. The cut out channel for fishing lines is very clever - while we don't fish we did tie off to each other and it made it easier to maneuver other people and items by the ropes. I do think of you were going to use this for more than casual paddling you'd want a wrap it in something to give it a better grip. The drip stop rings started sliding around a lot so they weren't very effective. ... show more

  • Mid level oar
My daughter is 5’7” and uses a top sitting kayak. This oar worked great for her needs on our local slow flow river. It feels good in the hands and works as expected. It’s a step up from the basic ones sold in big box stores.

  • Perfect size for emergency paddles that fits my Kayak
Color: Blue Size: 220-240 cm/86-94"
I have my main 230-250 set of paddles that I use for paddling, but I've always felt the need for a set of emergency paddles that I can use in case anything happens (water is dangerous no matter what). This paddle is smaller than what I need, but I chose it because it fits perfectly inside my kayak, without interfering with my legs . ( I can push them back on the side and still have plenty of room for my legs ), Or I can attach it permanently to the outside of the Kayak, which I guess will be the better option in my case. It's solid, very easy and quick to assemble, and the quality is good for the price. ... show more

  • Great intermediate paddle. Especially if you're looking for an extra Long/wide one! Found it!
This is a great intermediate range paddle that gets you some good features. Having a fiberglass (a little heavier than carbon), handle is what sets this paddle aside from the common rigs you find at the big box store. A fiberglass handle provides a great feel overall, vs. an aluminum shaft. I just personally prefer the fee of the fiberglass and carbon handles. I don't really find much of a weight difference in Fiberglass vs. Aluminum, but the feel is just much better. These paddles have some convenience features in the blades--line grabber hooks and other stick/limb grabbers. Those are always convenient features for anglers who say close to the banks, etc., Nice to have, finally, a long enough paddle too. Even though I'm only 5'10", I sit a little high on the yak, and I like having a longer oar. You don't run into oars as often that get to 260-280mm, which is noticably longer than any of the bix box store oars. ... show more

  • Nice fishing paddle
Color: Blue Size: 220-240 cm/86-94"
I got this to take as a backup paddle on my fishing kayak. It is adjustable, so it will be good for most users and when you paddle kayaks of different widths. It is well made with a fiberglass shaft and poly blades. There is a line hook cutout on the blade that works well when youve got a fish on the line. Good price for a decent paddle to start with or have as a spare. ... show more
