⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This electric goat fence has been exactly what we needed. We had a lot of vines and underbrush we wanted our goats to clean up, and this fence made it easy to rotate them through wooded areas. My husband built a permanent walk-through gate, and we simply move the fence behind it and around the trees as needed. It keeps dogs, coyotes, and other animals out—anything that would be a threat to our goats. It even keeps our dogs out, so I’m confident it would work well to keep dogs in, too. Setup was super easy. We had the fence up in about 30 minutes (not including hooking up the electric charger, which takes a little extra time). The key is to unroll it exactly the way the instructions say—once you do that, it goes up smoothly. One thing I noticed when reading other reviews is that most of the lower ratings seemed to be from people who didn’t hook up an electric charger. That doesn’t really make sense, since this is an electric fence and needs to be powered to work as designed. I can now set it up and move it by myself when needed. I honestly wish I’d known about this fence sooner. Highly recommended, especially for goats.

This fence is extremely easy to use. My husband and I initially set it up, but I have moved it by myself a few times. We trained our goats in it initially for a couple of hours for 2 days and they quickly learned. Now I can feel comfortable having my goats outside their stall and I don't have to be down there with them every second but can look out the back and see where they are and know they are not eating anything they shouldn't. I can't tell you how thankful I am for this fence! I love my two little goats but they were consuming a lot more of my time because I would come home from work and then let them out for a few hours and I didn't feel comfortable doing anything else but staying right with them while they were grazing... now they are happy grazing and I feel comfortable that they are safe! Just a few points that may be helpful - don't try to roll the fence up when moving it.. I would grab a pole to pull it out of the ground but instead of using my back to pull it up, I would bend my knees while holding the pole then lift up using my legs for the power and it seems to easily come out of the ground (my hubbys suggestion that worked great).. also he suggested when pulling it out of the ground, just lay it on the ground.. then go to the end once they are all laying on the ground and pull the poll towards you.. kind of dragging the fence along the ground in a straight line if you can... (doing it on cut grass is easy but wouldn't be in a weeded area).. otherwise, you grab the pole and let the fencing kind of fold once before you grab the next pole... it is super easy.. like I said I can maneuver them all by myself now. Again.. very thankful for this fence and felt it was an affordable alternative to something permanent for now.. and I love that we can move it to different areas so they have plenty to eat!

Excellent fence for our sheep. Easy to set up. We also ordered the Gallagher S30 Solar electric fence charger. The two work well together. We found the Premium fence superior to the All-Porpose one - as the All-purpose one sags a bit. Premium is worth the extra cost. Thanks H&K Fencing for good customer service!

The ease of putting this fence up, albeit temporary, is phenomenally greater than tpost and roll wire. We are able to install a large section of fencing (we have seven linked together) in just a couple of hours. I was worried about the height, but after getting zapped a few times, the goats stay away from it for the most part. There are still a few stubborn ones that disobey the fence's spacial suggestion. It has held up well for the month we've had it installed through wooded and open areas. It was well worth the money.

This review is an update from what I previously posted. After my initial review, the seller called me to talk through the misunderstanding that was the instructions. In short, the instructions included in my first shipment were apparently wrong. I agreed to receive the product again to try. I received it in a few days and proceeded with the setup. It was much easier than initially thought, though did take more than 5 minutes as the terrain I was setting it up on was not an ideal flat pasture. That said, the fence works and energizes correctly from my solar-powered energizer. The goats don't exactly like the charge, of course. If you found my previous review helpful, please reconsider this product. Customer service from this company has incentivized me to look at their other products in the future. I docked one start because I feel the posts could be a little sturdier, but they are closer together than other similar products.

I use this for containing my goats. it's fabulous. I recommend weed eating the perimeter where the fencing will go, so you can get a good ground

Used to contain my big dogs for a year! They had already trained themselves when I had goats in to clean up back of my yard. Unfortunately after a year the dogs figured out it wasn't connected anymore and they're chewing it to pieces and wandering the neighborhood. Still it's a good solution and much cheaper than replacing a chain-link fence every time a tree falls. Wouldn't use for unintelligent dogs.

Currently have 8 rolls. Absolutely love them. They are better than the competitor. Easy to set up. Better pricing than the competitor for the same size. Super happy with this. We use the rolls for our goats and pigs.
