I like that this angle grinder fits my existing Dewalt 20V batteries. Power seems to be pretty decent although I haven't done any big or major work wit this yet. I don't have any doubts that it will get some light around the house type projects done. Build quality is ok. Not terrible, not great but for the price, it's a great bargain. Glad to have this tool in my arsenal.

Unless you're a professional who needs a high end grinder, this will fit your needs. I'm not a professional, but I am DIYer that likes to have tools like this one and I am working on a Murphy bed project and I will be using this grinder a lot. For now, I just tested it and I can already tell it will work just fine. Comparing to a wired one I have, the difference in performance is minor and it all make no difference to me, except that is more portable and that was the main reason I ordered it. From my initial experience, I don't believe that I will need a more powerful grinder than this and for the price, especially after the $30 discount at the time of this review, it is certainly a bargain.

I love the fact that this grinder works off of DeWalt batteries. I have several DeWalt tools and a couple of other tools that aren't DeWalt but work with their batteries. I really haven't found any issues with these "aftermarket" DeWalt friendly tools and they, including this one, are a much better deal than the brand name tools, especially considering that this tool comes with it's own (non DeWalt) battery and charger. This grinder has plenty of power and speed and the multi-position handle positions help make it very comfortable to use. Good safety features, good tool and with the amount of grinding I'll probably use it for it should last me many years.

Light and easy to use. Everything has a pretty good fit and finish. The only complaint I have with it is the same complaint I have with any of the cordless 4.5 inch grinders I have used. It just does not have the torque/power of a corded tool. It's not bad but, if you like to just lay into grinding some welds, you will trip the overload protection and have to slow down. Not something that bothers me for most jobs I use a cordless grinder for but it's not what I would call a production tool. More for small jobs or places you just don't have access to electricity.

I power carve and have (7) angle grinders. This is my 4th cordless one. And I might add possibly the best cordless so far. No doubt If it continues to give good service. Nice grip, light yet feels solid. The blade guard is substantial. One unique thing is the spanner wrench is stored in the handle. That's a nice feature. Plus it comes with a battery and charger. And yes, it is Dewalt compatible. The variable speeds make it very versatile.

This is a good quality tool, it does what it is supposed to and does it well. The only downside is that the power is less than a corded grinder, but I would expect that from any other battery grinder as well.
