This is a solid angle grinder. I previously owned a name-brand model, and this one doesn't feel any worse. The set matches the description - well-packaged, no issues, and ready to use right out of the box. It includes several wheels for all basic household needs. I haven't conducted a full test yet, as I usually work outside during warmer months, but I did a few cuts in the garage, and it worked well. The instructions are mostly up-to-date, with only a few minor external details. It's very powerful, with six speed levels - settings 5 and 6 provide good power, while below 4 is less noisy and suitable for sanding or other low-RPM tasks. I can definitely recommend this product.

So far this one has surprised me how well it works and for the money it costs, it comes with a bit of stuff. The wire wheel alone is a good 15 bucks. The variable speed, I am not used to having on an angle grinder but I could see it being handy if you were using a buffing wheel on this. It has lots of power overall shocked me for the money... I thought it might be like a old drillmaster from harbor frieght that is gutless but not at all. I have used nicer grinders and have a few nicer grinders but they cost far more. The plastic is of quality they even gave a extra set of brushes with the tool. I am not a huge fan of the trigger and the way it locks to stay on but that is pretty minor. It has a handle guard and all you need to get started. Grinders are one tool that a welder or DIY guy can not have too many of. This would make a great gift for most guys.

This 4 1/2-inch angle grinder has a solid and heavy build, and the 12-amp motor delivers impressive power. I’ve been using it to create hangers for storing beehive frames during the winter, and it’s been performing exceptionally well. I have a Makita 9556NB that has been with me for quite a while. It's no accident that this VERGING Angle Grinder is the exact color match for my Makita products. There was a definite attempt to clone the appearance to make unfamiliar users to think this grinder is a Makita. I tested it and decided that I do not like the trigger. It turns on and locks on. There is no two ways about it. This grinder is either locked on, or locked off. That is kind of goofy and potentially not safe in my view. One of the accessories is a cup brush with a hex head nut attached to tighten the brush to the arbor. How ever the wrench that is supplied with this kit doesn't fit the nut of the cup brush. Why not? The wrench is a spanner wrench with a bolt size cut-out that doesn't fit anything. Why not? This machine comes with other accessories like cut-off and grinding wheels that is a nice feature, but not enough of a loss leader to get me to buy another tool of this kind. I can only rate this 3 stars because of the color scheme, the goofy trigger, and the wrong wrench size included in this package.

Bottom line: Buy with confidence. This angle grinder is built to last -- which makes it a bit on the heavy side to handle. It fits my hands well and doesn't vibrate more than you would expect with a power tool of this size and purpose. Likes: Quality; heavy-duty Dislikes: A bit on the heavy side to handle, but that is probably the price of having a heavy-duty tool, so I still give it 5 stars

Solid, heavy tool that works well (tho loudly) and comes with an excellent assortment of wheels and even a large wire brush. For $50, that's a great deal. My only issue is that it doesn't come with a case. And for a tool like this, that has a special wrench, lots of accessories, and a removable handle, that's a major negative. A cheap plastic blown case would have added 5 bucks to the price and would have gotten this tool 5 stars from me. Sadly, I can only award 4 stars in the current configuration.

This angle grinder is very well made. Great Quality. The way it will never “run out of power” is a good thing- batteries on a power hungry power tool can be a problem sometimes. I have a battery powered angle grinder and it works fine… until the stored power starts to lag and then, so will the tool. As long as I have a powered outlet this tool will never slow down. Most of my tool use for this grinder is at home, so no problem. Very glad to have this corded power tool. VeryGood

This angle grinder is very well built and comes with an assortment of attachments. It is well worth the money. I like the various ways to attach the auxiliary handle so the grinder can be used in so many different ways. I look forward to using it in my farm shop for various projects. The assortment of attachments is an added bonus for the price but would have liked it if a carrying case was included to keep everything together in one place. All in all, I am very satisfied with it to give it a 5-star rating.
