I’m rating this a 3* because it’s not a bad jacket, but just not what I was expecting. It’s very lightweight, more like a cardigan, than a coat. I was expecting it to be more fitted, or structured, but it looks very frumpy on me, as if I was wearing a robe. The lining is cheap and is not attached very well. It’s almost too big for the rest of the jacket because it’s very baggy, but at least it has a lining. I think if the lining was attached better, and a little better quality of fabric, it would look a lot better. Mine didn’t have any smell when it came, so that’s a plus! It does leave fuzzies all over, but I would think that could be fixed with a tumble in the dryer. I’m returning this because for the price, I’ve seen better quality. I ordered the light beige and it looks like what is shown in the picture. I’m torn between whether or not I dislike this specific jacket because of the quality, or if I just don’t look good in a jacket of this style, but either way, I’m returning it.

I love this coat so much lol. It’s a LARGE , i’m 5’ approx 165-170 pounds and it fits great. The inside is the silky material and even though it’s not a THICK coat it still kept me warm on texas winter nights when I was outside. It DOES NOT HAVE BUTTONS TO CLOSE so think about that when purchasing. I’ve washed it several times and I air dry it and it still fits perfectly.

I originally bought this for, well you guessed it, Taylor Swift. Figuring I’d wear it once then it would hibernate forever. Let me tell you… I love this thing. It was perfect for New Year’s Eve and anytime I want my outfit to have a hint of elegance. Brought it with me to NYC and everyone was asking me for directions and what train to take on the subway. I didn’t have the heart to tell them I have never been there before so hopefully they landed in the right spot, but I attribute that to this coat. It’s lightweight but still warm. I live in Buffalo so I may not be wearing it through a snow storm but this thing does get me through some pretty chilly nights. Only odd thing to note, that does not dictate taking a star away. The pockets are lined up a little weird. Nothing falls out though so it’s harmless, but sometimes my phone does end up near my butt.

I liked the look but it has similar problems as other lined low cost coats. The lining and the fake fur layer are not joined correctly leaving a fold, wrinkle in the fake fur at the bottom in back. I tried tacking up the fur layer at the neck but could not resolve the problem. Will wear it anyway. Cannot return it because my local Kohls requires the customer have a smart phone to scan bar code and I do not have a smart phone. Kohls is terrible at customer service.

You know what I *wasn’t* thinking the whole week I waited for my coat to be delivered? I wasn’t checking the porch every day saying “I can’t wait until my new coat arrives so I can iron the lining!” I’m so disappointed. Now that I read more reviews more closely, I see that some folks mention the vacuum pack at the end of their reviews. I’m putting it up top because I am genuinely distraught. The coat is a wrinkled mess and the creases inside the sleeves are so sharp they are physically uncomfortable. The instructional insert (pictured, different printing on each side) literally says “Don’t worry. The wrinkles can be removed easily after a quick ironing….” Sigh. They should include that in the product description. Because I don’t want to iron my new fuzzy coat for which they recommend “professional dry cleaning”. The lining is sewn to the fuzzy fabric at all the hems, which is usually a sign of quality construction and finishing. But I just can’t get past the wrinkles. Plus what they picture as an iron on the insert looks more like a steamer head, at least here in the mid-Atlantic U.S. to this 50-something mom—my iron is not that small! And when I say I waited (actually more than) a week: I originally ordered red and though Amazon put a hold on my account for the purchase, it never shipped. I contacted the seller and they replied (promptly) that it was an issue with payment (no, it wasn’t). I even offered to accept my second-choice color (army green) presuming the red was back ordered. They suggested I just place another order. After six days I held my breath and cancelled the red one, which Amazon said they could try, and then followed up with “we were successful”. Then I placed a new order for the green one—but the price was 20% higher than my initial order :( because there was no longer a coupon available. Seems shady.
