I love this little gadget! I even bought another one, one for me, one for my wife. Easy to use, once you setup everything (really easy, it's like Bluetooth pairing an earphones) you don't need to do anything else, just wait for it to automatically connect. Great value for the money, it does what it says and its not crazy expensive like other models. Works well with my Pixel and OnePlus phones with great sound quality. It only takes one usb port and you can just leave it connected all the time. This solves the "android auto has disconnected" problem - but it creates a new problem. When hooked up with a USB cable, my phone was charging, which is essential on long trips. I had it hooked up wirelessly using this device and charging wirelessly with the vehicles built in wireless charger and then android auto complained that it was being less efficient while wireless charging! So yes, the product works great, but to me it's not a good solution for the 'Android Auto Disconnected' error message.

This product does not fix any issues with disconnect from your vehicle. When it does work it made my phone act strangely. Screen would frequently blink on and off and disconnect. On a positive note it will connect and reconnect if it loses communication. But overall I wanted this to prevent frequent disconnecting from my car.

Firstly this device is amazing and adds wireless Android auto to any supported vehicle. I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL and this works great, no more type C cable! However where I take off a star... - So firstly this might not be the devices fault but I believe it is because based on my drivers manual the USB port is supposed to power off after 1 hour of the vehicle being off. Well this device to my knowledge NEVER powers off and it is always running. How do I know this? Well if you are in range of your vehicle with the bluetooth your phone will constantly flicker to "activate android auto" and you can even hear your vehicle start playing music. What I did to fix this is I manually have to turn off bluetooth whenever I am done driving. Kind of a pain. - The 2nd issue is again this might not be the devices fault but I think it is is that I have an amplifier app on my phone that when I was hooked up with the type-c cable I never had any problems. With this device sometimes my amp doesn't recognize I am in Android Auto mode and it never applies my presets. To fix this I found I have to unplug and replug the device in and boom it works. I think it does this because of my first point, I think the device was still powered on and with it scanning for a device for so long it glitches out. Other than those 2 points this thing is great and adds Android Auto to anything, just hope you have a good car battery lol.

Who knew!! This is def in my top 5 of purchases!! No more replacing cords or USB adapters that stop after awhile or switch off and on with bumps! This is so easy to hook up and have a long range!! The USB port on my 4 year old phone has gotten really touchy over the years and I've bought multiple cables trying to find one that would work flawlessly. I wish I had known about this product years ago and it would have saved wear & tear on my phone port. I use Android Auto every day for my 30 mile commute and depend on it for Waze, Google Maps, audiobooks, and voice-activated messaging service. I bought a 2024 Maverick and the dealer mentioned this device. While the Maverick touch screen takes forever to boot up (compared to my Honda), once it gets going, this works well. It took me a while to get used to the slow Ford software, but once I figured that out, it works fine. I can now use the wireless charging in my Ford and not have to worry about cord. I put some stick-on velcro on the Adapter and put it out of sight under the dash below the USB plug so I barely know it's there and it takes up no visible space in the truck's cubby. No problems with set-up or connection to the phone (once the truck boots up).

The Android Auto adapter is fantastic. I didn't think that switching to a wireless Android Auto feature would make as big of a difference as it did. I really like that I don't have to take my phone out and plug it in every time I want to use it. The adapter came with instruction and I was able to set it up in maybe 10 minutes. When I turn on my car the adapter automatically connects and starts playing with in about 30 seconds. The sounds quality is good and gives the full functionality of the Android Auto system. The company has excellent customer support. The adapter worked automatically for about 2 weeks and then stopped connecting automatically (it asked me to pair it each time). The customer support sends a welcome email that makes getting support simple. I replied to the email with my tech problem. They sent me a reply the same day with different possible fixes. I just needed to change my settings to connect automatically. Their advice was super helpful and fixed my tech issue. The adapter is now connecting automatically again. I am very happy with this product!
