Bought it for my 3 year old. We'll start with the good, then on to my peeves, and finally why I'm returning it after 24 hours. The display is clear and bright, no tearing or stuttering. Running Spotify with Miko or abcmouse was fine, things were a little slow but in general all the apps ran well. Sound quality is terrible, volume needs to be adjust for every app and video, and there are so few stops that most of the time I can't find a comfortable volume. I have had a few experiences with touch not responding without a thunk of a tap. Battery life is not great and the battery gets hot with use and charging. It's going back because the top & bottom bars and nav buttons quit responding until the device is rebooted. The back and app switcher buttons don't work at all, the notification & system menus won't pull down, all apps won't pull up, and the home button only works from the camera app. I can still launch apps, mostly use apps, and use the keyboard. Buttons that seem to close things don't work. The only thing that fixes it is a reboot, tried a reset with no joy. If usage was stable and consistent this would be a great tablet. EDIT: It's touch screen failure over 70% of the screen. For a kid I was willing to cut some corner, but the thing has to work. It's going back. ... show more

Battery life as expected for a tablet of this size and power, storage is ok, and ram starts at 4 GB but you can add either 4, 6, or 16 GB through Virtual memory (whatever you choose pulls from your existing storage space). Wi-fi is very fast on a Wi-Fi 5 or 6 network. Screen is more rounded than others which makes finding a screen protector harder. The one I bought doesn't seal at the very edges. For what you get, price is good, I got it on sale, but now there is a coupon for even lower than what I even paid for it. Sound is ok, but doesn't have speakers all around, so when it is in landscape mode, speakers are on bottom, but not when in Portrait (phone view) mode...then they are either on the left or right hand side. ... show more

it's a pretty decent tablet. basic features are all present. the touch sensitivity is a little wonky but easy to get used to. the power plug is on the top of your left handed but on the bottom if your a righty (in relation to the onoff button and the volume control) overall a killer deal for the price and honestly,, not that far of a dropoff at all from the $300+ tablets. I've had this tablet for several weeks now and I've been pleased with it. I'm not much of a game player, just a Sudoku, and some shape matching things. I use the tablet mostly for reading (books with Libby and newspapers with various apps from the paper publishers). I also use it to monitor my Wyze and other brand security cameras at various locations and it does a great job of that. Nice streaming video with no issues. I use the Google apps for mail, maps and photos, all run smoothly. I like that it has a GPS chip and doesn't depend on other means to calculate location. I like that it runs Android 16. I'm not sure if I'll see and Android upgrades being pushed out for this tablet so I wanted to get something that had the latest Android version when I bought it. Battery life has been good. I use it from 2 -4 hours a day and then put it back on the charger for the night. It has more battery left in it when I put it back on the charger. My only real complaint was I couldn't figure out how to change the icon grid on the Home Page. The icons had too much space between them. I checked the settings but the Home Page Grid Size setting was not available. I solved this by adding the Lawnchair 16 Launcher. It allows me to modify everything. Do some searches online and you'll find out how to add it if you need it. Initially I was concerned that this was going to be more of a tablet for children, with low speeds and lots of lag. For me this tablet has been great for what I use it for. I will say if you use the cameras on the backside you might have trouble finding a cover for it. I use the front camera but not the back ones so I just got a generic flip type cover that works fine. Don't get a cover that might interfere with the buttons on the side. I guess I should also say I didn't have any problems with Wi-Fi (I only have 2.4 ghz available) or Bluetooth connections. ... show more

Worked well for a couple months. Now, not so great. When streaming tv from battery power, I will get a "battery temp too high, unit shutting down " message. Then turns off. After a few minutes you can turn it back on. This happens after about an hour of viewing. If plugged in, it works well and I don't get the message. It only happens when using it on battery power. It probably draws more current than the battery can handle and the internal battery overheats. Don't know if it would be a fire hazard, so, be careful how you use it when running it without a power cord. ... show more
