My radio wasn’t working at all before, but now i can finally listen to music. The only issues is that the original backup camera is not compatible with this radio, so I need to buy a new one. Update. It’s been a few days, and so far to good. I really like that once you set your phone to your car, it automatically connects to you phone and starts with the CarPlay.     • Gets the Job done but not enough instructions.
I installed this on my 2013 Escape and overall it works as intended. The dash kit doesn't fit perfectly flush but some double sided tape helps. You will need to transfer the panel clips from the original dash unit to the new one (i missed this step). I would also suggest pre-plugging in the wiring harnesses and accessories to the back of the headunit as they are tiny and quite difficult to click into place. The steering wheel and main control buttons work but the button adjustment app does not allow any re-mapping or assigning of the factory buttons. It also interferes with sync when pressed for voice guidance. Overall I am able to get Android auto on my Escape and it has been reliable. ... show more

    • Relatively easy to Install
Initial installation was pretty easy as it was plug-and-play for the wires, had an issue with the antenna wire but that was because the OE wire snapped off. I fixed that and finished the installation only to find out that I was missing the wire for the OE camera to work on the new radio. Contacted the seller and they sent it out and received it in about a week. Very good customer service on their part and overall happy with this radio. The daughter loves being able to connect to it via wireless Carplay and I like her being able to use Carplay on it! The only negative to it is the grainy/poor video quality for the backup camera. The install wasn't too hard, its mostly plug n play. Unless your hooking up additional video or the remote Mic in, you won't need the additional wire bundle with all the RCA input jacks. My only issue is that the Factory reverse camera now looks horrible on that screen. Dark image some static. It came with all the parts needed to hook that up, I didn't order anything extra. I remember reading something about a special setting needed for some Ford models but I can't seem to find any info on that. The fit and finish is OK. Its not perfect but the small imperfections are not really noticeable really on a almost 9 year old car. Wireless android auto is hit or miss. Sometimes it loads sometimes it doesn't. when it does load its extremely slow. I have to play with that, it might be my phone that is the issue and will update if i come to a conclusion. I have found this is running Android 8 not 11 as advertised. It still works but I'm now concerned of the reliability long term if manufacturer lies about the OS version. ... show more

Not for the style with the larger screen shown. Works with the other style shown I'm guessing. I've installed >50 stereos, and the lack of installation instructions = a lot of time troubleshooting. It appears to be a decent unit, but it doesn't work with my model and I wasted a significant amount of time finding that out because no specifics are mentioned in the listing. ... show more

2 days installed, working great. Overall, easy to install, even though there are 0 instructions. Figured out my factory backup camera does work and don't need a new one. All old factory components work with new system: mic, steering controls, backup camera. Only issue now is understanding the software and downloading apps from Google Play, not working great, but I think its a Google issue or device setting issue. ... show more

Install was a bit tricky but the customer service was very kind and responsive to help me get through it. The radio works flawlessly, and wireless carplay is awesome. Nice sound and touch screen as well.
