  • Perfect
I never really write reviews. So impressed with this thing. Set up took 1 minute and sound is terrific. Even on a low setting the sound is clear in multiple rooms of our home. Just a great product.

  • Looks great and sounds amazing
Looks great with my fluance rt83. What a beautiful sound that comes out of the speaker. Crisp, detailed and surround sound. Very cool.

  • Great little speaker
This thing sounds great! Doesn't take up much room at all. Plenty of bass for most use. I'm going to get the sub for it next because I need that extra bass. We looked at some Marshall bluetooth speakers for our record player, but they do not come close to comparing to the sound quality of this. If you want a speaker that looks and sounds great without much space used, this is it. ... show more

  • Line in doesn't work and Phono has low hum, otherwise great
I guess the Spinbase is the vinyl/turntable counterpart of a digital player's bluetooth speaker, also engineered in MA just like BOSE, whom is the original company to make "big sound" out of small sizes. Anyway, it is satisfying for its size, comparing with proper receiver and bookshelf/floor speaker set up is unrealistic. One major hurdle I couldn't overcome though: why does the Line In not work???? My turntable is the PROJECT T1 phono, so it has pre-amp, so I should be plugging into the Ceramic/Line In ports, so I didn, and did not use the ground line. The amplification is not coming through, teeny sound and with hum (my T1 underbody Line-Phono switch was correctly adjusted), so I swithed over to Phono ports and flipped the underbody switch to Phono, and plugged in the third line, now it works, although on standby (when the TT is on but not playing), there's still low hum, although at this level I think it's normal. ... show more

  • Best Speaker For Vinyl on a Budget
Absolutely love this thing. It makes both the classics and the current bangers sound amazing. If you're looking for a solution that doesn't require a bunch of components or break the bank but still sounds amazing then this is the one for you.

  • Works as Advertised!!!
I am very pleased with my purchase of both the white Andover Audio Spindek Turntable and Spinbase sound-box. I was considering selling my Vinyl album collection because I am accustomed to digital music streaming. After reading and looking over the reviews about the simplicity of the setup, the space-saving size and the pleasing room filling sound, I decided to make the purchase. Wow! This brought back the joy and pleasure I had so many years ago spinning records, looking over their album art and reading about the singers or bands. Since the Spinbase also allows Bluetooth connectivity it doubles now as my go to digital streaming music player. I now have the best of both worlds. ... show more

  • Makes a weird white sound
The media could not be loaded. I don’t know how to fix it, I saw on the reviews it has this weird sound but some people were not bothered at all…. But this does really bother me for $300. It is great because of the space savings and sound quality but I hate that static noise. Sad with my purchase.
