  • Very much better for me that regular optical microscope
The concept is brilliant. A turret microscope crossed with a digital. The microscope part is really pretty decent. The stand lets it down. Too wiggly at the higher magnifications. I added a 4X lens to the turret. (the turret takes standard microscope lenses that thread in. It comes with two blank spaces so you can add your own) The 4X I added seems to be about 50X or so on screen. The next magnification is still perfectly usable but the highest magnification gets pretty wiggly. I reinforced the stand and it's much better. I think Andonstar spent the money on the microscope at the expense of the stand... which is a good thing. The non turret lens that comes with it works very well for all around use. An amazing range of magnification depending on how high you have the microscope. Bit of a pain to swap the heads to use it though. It would be great to have that lens in the turret but I suspect they would have put it there if they could. I hooked it up to my 65" TV and the images are truly amazing. Very sharp and clear. ... show more

  • I Cannot Unsee What i Saw 😂😅👀
I’ve never looked into a Good Microscope before...i was researching a little about Microscopes so i would know which one to buy for what i needed it for. I needed one to look at super tiny and microscopic things that i collect along my way thru life. I heard that we have Microscopic Bugs that live onus and burdow into our skin and i was curious how much more i would be able to see in comparison to my iPhone and the little 100x attatchment that ive been using.... NOTE: i bought this particular kind of Microscope shown above with a “screen viewer” Because i have a pretty significant astigmatism in both my eyes and a monocular would have made it that much harder for my eyes to focus together on what i was trying to look at. Anyway I LOVE this MICROSCOPE... I can see things that are so microscopic that you couldnt see that there was something there with a Magnified Glass if you tried. I am actually blown away that i can see things thst God Never really intended for us Humans to be able to see. The only problem is that NOW I KNOW what exsists on that microscopic level . That i didnt realize... And now im going to be OCD about leanliness and Germs and Cleaning. I cannot “un-see what I Saw.”😂😅🥴 🦠🔬 ... show more

  • to be fair it could be me
But I have not gotten it to work at all Maybe it needs a memory card to work? My old fashion microscope works better for me. But it has so many positive reviews it could just be operator error

  • Super easy to set up and use
As a past user of traditional microscopes, this surpassed my hopes in every possible way. Easy to use, VERY clear images, easy to view with a student or partner. Won't know about durability until it breaks but it is far cheaper and more durable than traditional microscopes. And the range of magnifications is enormous; Can use to assemble small parts, examine coins or jewelry, or see into cells. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Does what it’s designed for
Good visuals on the screen, but a little shaky with even the slightest bump of the table. Still worth the money for the young grandsons to learn on

  • Nice
I have a few complaints & some praises. I don't like the plastic. It is very flimsy. With such high magnification it is next to impossible to adjust because it is so flimsy. When adjusting the camera there is a detent that seems to always be right where I need to focus. So, I adjust the higth which doesn't work well either because of the backlash in the mechanism & the flex in the stand. I looked for the camera with these options in magnification with a metal stand but didn't find one. The camera & lenses are great. It has an amazing picture for the price. The lowest magnification that I use for soldering works great but it is pretty useless for the other two lenses with all the flex in the plastic. Also the slightest vibration is going to be seen with the higher magnification. It really needs to be more ridged. If you are working on the base it also has a pretty deep throat which allows about a 5" circuit board plenty of room. ... show more

  • The best microscope you can get for this price
Some of the most advanced features that you only see on some of the most expensive microscopes but here you see it on a microscope that has a very low price point.

  • Mineralogy microscope 3 to 5 lense capable digital USB, HDMI...
The media could not be loaded. This is my third microscope and the best. Wireless remote, cabled button to turn off and on all three lights, the monitor, and the light brightness without touching the monitor and shaking everything around. I am studying mineralogy and looking at 80 to 150 um (microns) in gold ore that is milled to 100 microns with lense B, I can see even more detail with lense C if necessary, but not often. There are two extra 20.2 mm threaded spots on lense holder for additional lenses if someone wanted stronger or more expensive lens's, I didn't know that either, and by the way the monitor does tilt. I love it. Support on face book is great as well. ... show more
