This camera cage is amazing! It fits perfectly and is super easy to set up. I love that you can choose where to put the extended handle or top handle.     • Wrong color - Received a golden cage rather than black

The product I received was not black, rather, a metallic gold color. I noticed in another review the same thing happened to them. I have emailed their support email to give them a chance to send me the correct color. If I hear back from them, I will update my review. Other than the wrong color, I am thoroughly surprised at the good quality this cage has. It is firm and rigid, and fits on my Sony A7IV like a glove. Looking forward to using this set up for my wedding videography business. Its also great how many hot shoe mounts it has. Also happy that it has a little slot where you can hide an Alan wrench for quick access at any time. One thing to note however, it comes with three different Alan wrenches, all different sizes. But you can only carry one at a time in the slot. So you can only tighten the main screw that attaches to the camera itself, and the wooden grip. But you will have to use a separate Alan wrench for the top grip. ... show more

I was skeptical at first. Have been eyeballing smallrig cage and accessories for the A7R3 for some time. Found this on Amazon and saw some reviews were good. I took a chance with this being half the price of competitors and so glad I did! The cage itself is a little tricky to install because you can't really see the gap to eyeball where your mounting screw is going in, so it's kind of guessing. Overall fits like a glove and I like how you can tear down the wooden handle to reverse it for the other side if needed for different preferences. 5 stars across the board! This cage is amazing! I thought at the price I would be giving up features other more expensive cages offer... WRONG! This has everything and then some. The built in tools are so handy. The color is a dark aluminum and looks very expensive. The wood handle is high quality and comfortable. This cage is amazing it fits like a glove and is easy to setup, it’s nice being able to choose what side to put the extended handle or the top handle as an optional piece, the tool being magnetic in the wood is a nice bonus, and it’s way cheaper than similar items elsewhere
