This allows you to use less coolant to clip longer and faster with less downtime. Compatible with all Andis, Oster, laube, Conair and Wahl detachable clippers. Features: · ceramic cutter stays up to 75% cooler than steel cutters · Improves blade durability for longer lasting blades · ultimate cutting versatility item specifications: blade size blade Cut 3 3/4 FC 1/2" – 13mm 4 3/8” – 9.5mm 4 FC 3/8” – 9.5mm 5 1/4" – 6.3mm 7 FC 1/8” – 3.2mm 8 1/2 7/64” – 2.8mm 9 5/64” – 2mm 10 1/16” – 1.5mm 15 3/64” – 1.2mm 30 1/50” – 0.5mm 40 1/100” – 0.25mm 40 SS 1/100” – 0.25mm 50 1/125” – 0.2mm please note: ceramic blades can be sharpened, however not all sharpeners offer this service.

  • Worth it
Style: 5FC: 1/4" (6.3 mm)
I shear my cocker spaniel/sheepdog mutt about 4 times per year. His fur is silky on top with a dense, fuzzy undercoat. Pic attached shows post-spring shearing. The 5FC blade is perfect for final touches. Highly recommend Andis clippers and blades. This blade has stayed sharp for 6+ shearings, making the price very worth the purchase compared to visiting a professional groomer. ... show more

  • NOT PLASTIC
Style: Coarse Cutter
I'm a professional barber and have been using these blades for over 6 years. (see photos, forgive the paint wear, these are well used!) A lot of reviewers are not professionals and they don't know how to assemble their blades and one recent review thinks this is plastic. It is ceramic. That means it won't bind up like metal on metal clipper blades, it will not heat up and it will last much longer (provided you do not drop your clippers.) I have bought MANY of these blades and used them in my Oster 76/Model 10 and Andis blades, replacing old metal blades that have bound up and upgraded my fast feeds with one -as shown (there is now a better option for the fast feeds that fits without modding the housing!) Here's what non-professionals need to know. When you replace the blade, make sure it is perfectly aligned with the metal teeth and only a tiny fraction below the top teeth, NO overhang and not too far in. Diagonal alignment will make the clippers bind up and pull hair. Apply a drop of semi permanent lock-tite in the screws to keep the blade from vibrating loose. Also ALWAYS brush your blades thoroughly after use and oil them by dropping two drops of clipper oil into the teeth while the clipper is on and moving. If you are going to store them for more than a week, you will also want to oil the rails, anywhere there is friction. Then brush them and oil them again before use. You don't have to do that much maintenance if you use them every day, but if they're stored, dusty or just unused and cold you'll want fresh oil. Those two things will keep your blades running smoothly for YEARS! ... show more

  • Smooth cuts
Style: 30: 1/50" (0.5 mm)
I’ve tried cheaping out buying other brands but this Andis blade is the best. The only problem I’ve had with it is that it chips easily. I’ve bought 2 in the past 6 months. I primarily use it for under clip combs and it works great.

  • Works as well as all metal blades, appears to not dull as bad
Style: 7FC: 1/8" (3.2 mm)
Owning multiple dogs prevents me from taking them to the groomer, as the costs are too much from my budget, and I have varied results in the quality of cuts and behaviors my dogs afterwards making me think the groomers may have been over-worked, rushed, inpatient, or possibly inexperienced. As a DIY'er it shoud be understood that I am not performing cuts that could be used in dog shows, only to prevent mats, tangles, and keeping my kids in good form. I have shih tzu's and usually have them in a teddy bear cut with 7FC to the body all year long. Here's some pro's and cons I have found with this and all of my other Ceramic Edge blades (I have a 10, 40, 4FC, 7FC, and 5FC) Pro's Slightly lighter than the all metal Stays sharper longer and I haven't required any sharpening (bathing the animal first prior to use) More uniform cut (due to not dulling) Performance is impressive and noticeable compare to my all steel blades runs/used longer IMHO Con's (Some may consider these not really issues) Doesn't stay cool as advertising would make you believe even with proper lubrication - I have two of my FC blades one to cool, and one to use and switch them out frequently to prevent injury to my animals. Just as fragile if not more so when dropped - granted this is more my fault not an actual fault of manufacturing If blade becomes mis-aligned the blade will not cut/acts like it's dull Andis is my go to for grooming my fur babies, I have spent far less on buying blades new and have been using them for years compared to taking my kids to a groomer saving time, money, and sparing them from poor experiences. Most of my training is from you tube videos and simply gawking at groomers while shopping at the big box stores. Hope this helps ... show more

  • Lasts a long time
Style: 40: 1/100" (0.25 mm)
We use these constantly for clipping cow hair before a surgery. The doctors prefer these type of blades because they can be switched out quickly if needed when on a farm call.

  • Cuts through thick coat like butter!
Style: 7FC: 1/8" (3.2 mm)
I love my andis grooming tool for my dogs. I have a Bicion/shitzu mix who has a very thick coat and these bladed cut through like butter. I love them. They also last a long time. This is a reorder for me, after 2 years its time for a replacement as I dont have someone near by to take to have them sharpened. They are cheap enough that replacements are almost the same cost as the sharpening anyway. I always recommend andis to anyone who asks what clippers I use on my dogs. ✭✭✭✭✭ - I love this product. it meets or exceeds my expectations and is great quality. I would recommend this to anyone. ✭✭✭✭ - I like this product but it’s is not perfect. The quality is good and is as described, but it could use some improvements. I would recommend this to friends and family. ✭✭✭ - This product is okay but it could be better. The quality is acceptable but it could use some improvements to make it better. I would recommend this to friends and family but advise of my thoughts about quality. ✭✭ - This product did not impress me at all. It either does not work as described, is of poor quality, or is just not what I was expecting it to be. It might be okay for some people who are just looking for something cheaply made or inexpensive to purchase. ✭ - I do not like this product. It is either very poor quality, a waste of time and money, or did not arrive in a timely manner. I would not recommend this product to anyone as it does not meet the quality standards of anyone and should be removed from amazon. ... show more
