The color of this product actually looked pretty good before I painted it, I thought about not painting it but decided I wanted all the pieces to be cohesive. I just wrapped it around the arms to replace the dry rotted wicker that was coming off.

We have a patio set that is falling apart from several years in the unforgiving sun. As it starts to crack, birds have discovered it and have picked at it for nests! I bought this to see if I could buy a few years - a new set costs a few thousand! It actually works pretty well. When I look at the wicker that has not been exposed to the sun, it looks the same as what I am wrapping with. The only issue is that the color doesn't match our old wicker that is fading in the sun.
