Ordered the Split Cal King at Midnight on Wednesday and it arrived at noon on Friday. 4 boxes (2 for mattresses and 2 for bases) I removed the mattresses and allowed them to expand for about 18 hours. They were about 10¹/²" thick out of the box and were at the full 12" when I returned home. I proceeded to remove the bases and was impressed with the quality, it was pretty easy to hook up following the instructions. I had an existing cal king frame and after removing the mattress, box springs and slats, the bases fit perfectly, however I would recommend having an extra set of hands to lift the bases and set the inside the frame if you have a frame. Everything worked perfectly and it's very comfortable. My old mattress was the Serta Perfect Sleeper but was not so "perfect" for me. I was waking up with sore back, shoulders and hips. The new mattress is much better for me and being able to adjust it to suit your comfort is Frickin Awsome. Great for watching TV and great for when you are ready to sleep. The massage helps relieve pain and helps the blood flow, I love it for my feet. Once you find the perfect position you can program it to go there. I bought Wholesalebeddings 4.3 out of 5 stars 191 Reviews Wholesalebeddings 100% Bamboo Bed Sheet Set - Split California King, Solid Grey - Super Soft & Cool, Bamboo Viscose, 5PC Sheets on Amazon and am extremely happy with them. I also purchased the Snowflake cat 8 Packs Elastic Bed Sheet Straps to keep the sheets on tight as they will come loose on adjustable beds and am very happy with them as well. You can't beat the price on this bed, it's a very high quality adjustable bed for $2000.00, no tax and free shipping, also, they will pay for return shipping if you are not happy, you must keep it for at least 30 days for return shipping to be free. It has been almost a year since we purchased this mattress and frame we are still very satisfied with the quality and comfort. The shipping was the only negative as the boxes were in l pretty rough shape, but thankfully the bed was fine.

My wife and I purchased this bed approximately a month ago, after a couple months of research. Based on all of the specs in the listing, and the # of positive reviews on the product, we decided to pull the trigger. To be honest, along with all of the reviews and specs, one of the biggest draws was the price. I usually stay away from purchasing "low end" items, as based on experience, they end up breaking down pretty quickly. Although the price on this bed is 1/3 (or more) cheaper than similar beds, at this point my feeling is that although the price is low...this is NOT a low-end product. The return policy on the bed was also a key factor in giving me the comfort level that I needed to place the order. Everything arrives in a series of boxes...a couple of which (the mattresses) are a bit heavy, and may be too much for some people to move around. After hauling everything down to the bedroom, I opened up the boxes, one at a time and started to assemble the bed. From beginning to end it took me about 45 mins to complete the task...which I would classify as a piece of cake (although I may be a bit handier than some other folks...not bragging, just trying to set expectations correctly). The adjust-ability of the bed works perfectly...smoothly and quietly. The massage feature works (as in, it turns on and runs), but I wouldn't base a buying decision on this feature. My thought is that the massage is more of a gimmick rather than a therapeutic feature, as you can feel the mattress shake a bit...but to call it a massage is probably a bit of a stretch. I highly doubt this is specific to the Ananda brand...I'm thinking that any time you are trying to push motion through 12" of foam, you can't expect a huge amount of movement on the other side. I have back and shoulder issues, and after waking up most mornings with a very sore shoulder (from sleeping on one side, most of the night), I decided to replace our bed. So far, I have not woken up with any shoulder or back pain, and find the comfort and support of the bed to be excellent. The reason I've given this bed an overall rating of 4 stars, rather than 5, is two-fold. 1) Although there are chrome bars at the foot of the bed to hold the mattress in place (which is great), there is nothing on the sides, so the mattresses easily split apart if you spend any time in the center of the bed. There should absolutely be some kind of bracket on the sides (two on each side) to keep the mattresses in place. Once we make a final decision to keep the bed, I'll be heading over to Home Depot to see what I can find to attach to the frame, to keep the mattresses together. 2) The second reason has almost nothing to do with the bed, and is more to do with the finding sheets to fit (and stay on) it!!! I am currently on my third set (and brand) of sheets (designed to fit 15+ inch mattresses), as the first two, either wouldn't even fit the bed, or the fitted sheet kept popping off the mattress...and that is without even using the adjustable feature. This may seem like a pet-peeve or something, but if you can't get sheets to fit and stay on the bed...what's the sense of having the bed. If I remember, I will try to update this review a bit further down the road, when we have more experience with this bed.
