This was a big decision for me when I purchased our first bed. When I ordered the 2nd one it was a no brainer. I have had 2 of these beds & 2 other brands. Yes, we loved the first one so much that we just do not want anything else. Several of our friends have purchased this bed after spending a weekend at our house & sleeping on it. Here are several commonly asked questions about our bed. #1 What kind if bed frame can you use? You can use a regular headboard-footboard combo by just removing the bed slats. It has adjustable height legs so you can have it the height that is right for you. #2 What kind of sheets can you use? You can use the special split King sheets, but we prefer to use regular King sheets. Unless you have one person who sleeps flat & another who sits straight up there is no issue. The bed still adjusts properly for each side. We choose to put x-long mattress pads on our mattresses. I have “sheet belts” that keep the pads in place & do clip one sheet corner on the top of both sides to keep them in place better. (My husband is ill & spends a lot of time in bed, so it is helpful.) I like the ones that make an “X” under the mattress. #3 What about the crack? The split is not an issue if there are any "extra activities" in the bed. We have 3 yorkies & the dogs do not fall thru the cracks. Even if we use split sheets it is not an issue. #4 Is it hard to put sheets on? No harder than a regular bed. You can raise & lower the head & to make putting the split sheets on easier. The regular sheet is easier than a standard bed because of the ability to raise the mattress. #5 Does the bed come apart in the middle when you try to sleep? NO. it has an attachment to keep it together. #6 How does it look when made up? It looks like a regular bed unless it is raised. You just make it like any other bed. They also make a special bed ruffle that is box style that works. #7 Can you store stuff under it? Yes. You still have room for storage like a regular bed with a box spring has. I like having a head tilt option on ours, but it is not necessary, 2 of ours do not have it & I prefer having the option. Some have fancy lights under them, but I never have used them. The vibrators are okish but I seldom use them. The charging ports are nice to have but I never use them. They are not easily accessible due to our set up. Mine do not have enough power for larger devices. I would never want to go back to a regular bed. Yes, I am sitting up in my wonderful bed as I type this. My happy place!!! This has been money well spent & I have nothing bad to say about these beds. Go ahead & buy yours!

Ordered the Split Cal King at Midnight on Wednesday and it arrived at noon on Friday. 4 boxes (2 for mattresses and 2 for bases) I removed the mattresses and allowed them to expand for about 18 hours. They were about 10¹/²" thick out of the box and were at the full 12" when I returned home. I proceeded to remove the bases and was impressed with the quality, it was pretty easy to hook up following the instructions. I had an existing cal king frame and after removing the mattress, box springs and slats, the bases fit perfectly, however I would recommend having an extra set of hands to lift the bases and set the inside the frame if you have a frame. Everything worked perfectly and it's very comfortable. My old mattress was the Serta Perfect Sleeper but was not so "perfect" for me. I was waking up with sore back, shoulders and hips. The new mattress is much better for me and being able to adjust it to suit your comfort is Frickin Awsome. Great for watching TV and great for when you are ready to sleep. The massage helps relieve pain and helps the blood flow, I love it for my feet. Once you find the perfect position you can program it to go there. I bought Wholesalebeddings 4.3 out of 5 stars 191 Reviews Wholesalebeddings 100% Bamboo Bed Sheet Set - Split California King, Solid Grey - Super Soft & Cool, Bamboo Viscose, 5PC Sheets on Amazon and am extremely happy with them. I also purchased the Snowflake cat 8 Packs Elastic Bed Sheet Straps to keep the sheets on tight as they will come loose on adjustable beds and am very happy with them as well. You can't beat the price on this bed, it's a very high quality adjustable bed for $2000.00, no tax and free shipping, also, they will pay for return shipping if you are not happy, you must keep it for at least 30 days for return shipping to be free. However, I have no intention of returning this bed. Hope this review helps.
