Instructions are kind of ambiguous is done places, it's just pictures and no words and minimal labelling. I managed to figure it out and set up the mattress alone, or though it definitely would have been easier with someone else. The plastic rubber caps at the end of the metal legs were cracked upon arrival, which didnt end up mattering because I have it on risers but would have been really annoying to deal with because I didn't see an easy way to report that the item was damaged and just ask for replacement feet instead of sending back the entire bed frame. My twin XL mattress fits the frame. Barely, but it fits.

Very practical bed, took less than an hour with two people. No creaking & feels sturdy. Instructions are super straight forward! Which ever skillset you have building furniture, make sure your tightening all your bolts extra tight & when it comes to the center of the bed, keep the bolts loose until you're connected to the headboard & foot-base.

The picture is nice however when we received item it was clearly a returned item and was re-packaged. UNFORTUNATELY two critical parts were missing and we had to jury rig with wood stands. The specific parts were to hold up the front of the bed and to attach the headboard. Plus one piece was bent out of shape. We needed the bed so we did not return. I would advise anyone buying this item to check for all the pieces before unwrapping and give yourself time to return.

This is a very low priced bed frame but it is also very low quality. It doesn’t have good finishes as the photos show the cracked feet and end caps. That’s how it came out of the box. The headboard is very low so you cannot stack pillows off you want it to be visible. It is not straight either so the masters sits slightly crooked but, from a distance, it looks decent. Luckily, it is for a spare room so it won’t get a lot of use. It’s a get what you pay for piece so, if you are looking for quality and every day use, I would not choose this bed. I got another brand for twice the price and it is much better quality.

Took me about 1 hour to assemble. Just make sure you have enough room to work. Good price for the quality but still on the lower end size of a bed better for something like a younger teenager or younger person
