Rug came in a air tight package, came as described. It is extremely light weight but very soft. Have in a bedroom. Have not attempted to vacuum yet and not quite sure the vacuum wouldn't damage it if I tried. For the price I paid if it does I won't be terribly upset.

This rug comes vacuum packed in a small box. Soft, light, thin rug that's not easy to vacuum without it catching on the vacuum cleaner rollers. Nice color. My only complaint, and the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it smells very bad. Other reviewers have complained about this also. I'm in the process of trying to get rid of the smell by, first of all, airing it out overnight on my porch; secondly spraying it with fabric freshener & using a scented wax melt lamp. This seems to help. It's still a good buy for the price. Update: It took 2 full days for the bad smell to go away. Fabric freshener helped a lot. ... show more

This is a beautiful rug. I have black 8x10. Got it in December. However it is a magnet for EVERYTHING. After vacuuming it changes texture. If you spot wash, it will also change texture and mat up. I have purchased a new vacuum just for this rug and things stick to it so it can’t be sucked up. I literally get in my knees with a comb to remove debris of just daily life. It’s just me and I don’t eat around it. This would be better in a spare room that no one uses. Yes I’m using an air purifier too. Let me tell you flocked Christmas trees are a no go with this rug in the same house. I’m still hand picking flock off of this damn beautiful headache of a rug. Also note: it holds odors. I have noticed that the middle of the rug is separating in some spots from the second layer. I’m not giving up, but I may have to stop working to clean this rug full time at this rate. ... show more

*DO NOT BUY THIS.* A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. They're too light to vacuum so I was going to have them cleaned. Stanly Steemer said they're too cheap for their cleaning machines and would be ripped apart. Tried to wash them in a washing machine and the rug detached from the backing, making it 90% slip prone compared to the 75% that it already was. Worst purchase I've ever made, and I've purchased a yodeling pickle. ... show more
