Firstly, I'm generally a fan of fun, cute little acrylic items like these. And I do like these a lot, because they're funny and cute, and there's a really good variety of "awards" in this set. They come neatly packaged in a sturdy, plain box, and each little award is individually wrapped. The only downside to these that I have seen so far is that each award has a protective film on both sides of it, which must be removed either by the giver or the recipient (otherwise the award will have a slight filmy/cloudy look to it). On the one hand, I appreciate when films like this protect the acrylic, because it usually means you get a pristine, glass-like look to the item. However, the film is also notoriously difficult to remove. I removed the film from two of these so far (two films each per item, so four films total). There are little stickers on one side of the awards that are supposedly going to help you remove the film. However, I do not see how the little stickers can help with the film, as they just peel right off of the film. So it seems like you're left with the usual film removal process, which is to sit patiently trying to peel a little corner of the film up so you can grab it and gently peel the rest of it off. My suggestion for peeling the protective film off is: Gently use a fingernail on the bottom/base of the acrylic near a corner. Push gently from a corner inward, until your nail eventually catches the film and peels it up ever so slightly. Then push a little more until there's enough that you can grab it a little with your fingers. Then peel the rest of it off slowly, pulling up towards the top of the award. This worked the best for me so far, because there are some littler parts near the top that don't come off as well if you start at the top. If you start near the bottom, you have a big chunk of film already off, and as you pull up towards the smaller bits, it's less likely that the smaller bits will break off and stay stuck to the award. Overall, I'm happy with these and really like how fun and cute they are. As I said, the only downside is the protective film, which, while it's pretty expected with this type of item, it's still a bit of a hassle to deal with.

These are great for funny gifts for an office setting. I'm only giving it four stars because some of them are a little weird, and I don't know who to give them to. Ideally, there would be a list of awards to choose from to curate the perfect assortment, but that's probably not very cost-friendly.
