The unit is surprisingly assembled in the USA. The motor is more than ample. Came almost completely assembled right out of the box. Solid instructions on the mower. It went nonstop mowing a slightly overgrown yard of 3/4 of an acre. Unit seems to be well designed. My only gripe and its not major is that is does not travel in self propelled mode as fast as I wish to travel. Motor didn't seem to hesitate in taller grass and didn't kill itself as most mowers do. While I certainly cannot say it will stand the test of time yet, 1st impressions are very good. For its price, I do recommend this unit ... show more

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review – AMRISUN 21" Self-Propelled Lawn Mower I used my AMRISUN 21" self-propelled lawn mower for the first time today, and I’m seriously impressed. The 170cc engine has plenty of power and handled my yard with ease, even through thicker grass. The self-propelled drive makes mowing effortless, which is a huge plus if you have a medium to large yard. What really stood out was how well the mulching feature works. It chopped the clippings up super fine and spread them evenly across the lawn. I also tried the grass bag collection, and it filled efficiently without clogging. Switching between mulching and bagging was quick and simple. The mower feels solid, easy to maneuver, and starts reliably. For the price and performance, this mower absolutely exceeded my expectations. Solid machine. Just put oil and gas in it and you are set. Starts right up. It is HEAVY and im 6’4” 220#s. It’s a pain in the but in tight areas. Straight shots there is minimal effort required. The handle pad is starting to rip but some athletic tape fixed that. For the price it’s worth it

Let's face it, it's the cheapest self propelled mower on Amazon. So let me tell you what I found after I assembled and mowed today. 1) Easy to assemble. (Although I had an extra screw in the bottom of my box, it didn't appear to be missing from anywhere). 2) Started on the first pull. 3) It did a good job mowing through my weeds/grass. Disappointing was the speed of the self propelled. But based on the purchase price I found it acceptable. It wasn't slow, but I am 65 years old and I can push it faster without self propelled. That being said, this mower is not that heavy, thus if you want to push it w/o self propelled I found it doable...which is helpful around flower beds, etc. My last mower was front wheel drive so the rear wheel drive takes a little getting used to. With the old one I could just lift the front wheels off the ground and pivot 90-180 degrees. It's not a big deal, again just takes a few uses to become 2nd nature. For the price, I thought it was an excellent purchase. I did buy the 3 year protection plan since it was a "no-name" mower and not returnable. It gave me a bit of peace of mind when I found that extra screw in the box. LOL. ... show more

Ordered this lawnmower so we didn't have to spend the time and money to fix our old one. It gets here. It starts up for 2 minutes and quits! We tried it again the next day. Same thing. It doesn't hold it's charge. I call to complain about it and it can NOT be returned but I get scolded because I was in the wrong! They did refund it but wouldn't allow the money to go back to my card. Amazon made me use it as a credit. HORRIBLE! WHAT A SCAM! ... show more

It does cut well and starts right up but the self propelled function is not working out of the box and unfortunately I have a hill to mow...which is why I bought this model. :(
