These are very heavy duty and come packed in a way that would've made chipping impossible! The light pink is gorgeous. The plates are perfect for times when you're not sure if a plate or bowl would work better ( like spaghetti). The bowls are my new go-tos for soup. Love this set.

TL;DR Cool set of sturdy plates and bowls. High profile, though, which makes them a bit unwieldy in the cupboard. And there’s a ton of packaging too. — These dishes definitely look cool if you’re looking for modern dinnerware. They’re contemporary and sleek, the glaze is consistent throughout. The color is not white; it’s a little off-white and has an eggshell sheen. They’re sturdy (pretty heavy) and microwave safe. Good for food staging or for impressing dinner guests. The bowls are pretty deep (think ramen bowls) and also have an almost 90-degree angle from base to sides, which works for the plates (you don’t have to chase food around your plate anymore), but not as well with bowls (it’s harder to get the last of the milk out with just a spoon). Nitpicks: They’re probably about twice the height of regular dishes (not great if you have limited height in your cupboard or additional dishes—see my pic). They’re also very hard to slide out of a pile, because instead of a gradual rise, it’s a vertical lip, which means that you have to lift up the entire stack to clear the foot—only there’s nothing to grab onto to do that because they all stack perfectly into each other—so you’re definitely not just pulling out a dish with one hand while holding a pot or pan in the other. One last thing: holy moly does this come packaged with a ton of cardboard. I counted 3 layers of boxes inside the Amazon one! ... show more

I really love this set! So I was so disappointed when one of the bowls cracked after less than 3 months of normal use. I haven’t had any problems with dishwashing them, but I think this set is not microwave safe as advertised. Such a beautiful set but apparently the quality is not so great. This is such a great 3 piece place setting for 4. You get with this dining set a dinner plate, bread plate, and a soup bowl which is all you need for a casual everyday set. This dinning set is both casual enough to use everyday and elegant enough to serve at a dinner party with company. I love the grey color because it easily matches all my other dishes I have. The construction of this dishes are great I inspected each dish and they were all fine without any damage. The dishes are made of heavy ceramic that is both crack and chip resistant which is great for everyday use. The dishes are also dishwasher safe and has survived many dishwasher cycles without any damage yet. I love that both of the plates have high lips and that the bowl is deeper than most bowls this is such a nice and well design set that is both timeless and beautiful. I would highly recommend this dish set to anyone looking for a new set or gifting to a loved one. ... show more

This set of dinnerware is now my favorite and I’ve moved all of the old dishes out. The color I chose is the off-white or very light cream/gray color, they are not matte white in my opinion.     • Nice dishes, but...
I got this set to hopefully replace Cost Plus dishes that I really like and have had for maybe 12 years. The individual pieces of this set are heavier than my old set but not as heavy as other stoneware dishes. I like the contemporary style. One thing that I don't like is that the bottom of each piece is rough and will scratch my Corian counters unless I use something under them all the time. That is the only reason I did not give this set 5 stars. Also, I would have preferred a set for 6 and if it included matching coffee mugs. I cannot find the matching mugs. I did find a set of 6 mugs on the ArmorArc website but my set is only for 4. And the set on ArmorArc is beige while my set is white. ... show more
