I use these for making my hiking sticks. I've tried several different brands and grits of flapper wheel and these are by far the best for your money. I've tried ones that lasted for three sticks and started burning the wood. I've bought some that were just trash and got thrown out immediately. And I bought ones that work good but cost five times as much. I've probably done 20 sticks with one wheel with no scorching or burning of the wood.
