The grinder works as intended, it chew's up wood pretty impressively. But hold on for your life. The only reason I didn't give it four stars is because if you're using it on an x-lock adapter on a Makita or bosh angle grinder and you use it for more than 20 minutes straight you will not be getting the wheel off the adapter. The two fuse into one basically.

I had a bunch of tree roots left from a removed tree as dirt settled that were making lawn mowing extremely difficult. I thought of various remedies, then came across this tool. Worked great shredding the roots to below dirt level. Also worked very quickly, just had to have a good grasp on the angle grinder. Wear eye protection.

I am pleased to give this product a 5-star rating as it delivers on its advertised performance. As an attachment to my angle grinder, this wheel has proven to be a formidable tool in cutting through wood. I have tested it on a variety of woods such as Cedar, Pecan, and Walnut, and in each instance, it has demonstrated outstanding performance. It is important to note, however, that safety precautions must be taken when using this product. One inadvertent touch of the wheel on the skin can result in serious injury, necessitating the use of protective clothing. Additionally, it should be noted that the angle grinder with this wheel is not suited for precision cuts, and great care must be taken when applying the tool to the wood. The wheel has a tendency to pull in one direction or another, requiring a firm grip on the grinder. In terms of Live edge work, this wheel may not leave a perfect finish, and sanding may be required to achieve the desired results. Despite this, I remain highly satisfied with the product's performance and would recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient cutting tool for wood.

Got you some wood that needs shaping? Maybe a few planks that need thinning out in spots to even out yon high spot? Maybe you're working on your Beaver style masterpiece sculpture. This Wood Grinding Shaping Disk is right handy! Have I used it me own self? Naa, Me Pa used it. I got it for him to use on his little project that turned into a big project. I'm sure you know what I mean. I saw the results of this Wood Grinding Shaping Disk however. That's to say, the big smile and the very quick work it made of that small job turned large. He loved it and I thought he'd cuddle yon prickly disc with the glowing look he had. Considering he's a tough ole boot with nine times the ornery of a grumpy badger, I've come to trust his opinion when it's clearly written on the mans face. The price on this is plenty good. Me Pa gives his stamp of approval to this Wood Grinding Shaping Disk. *Note - Use proper safety precautions when operating an angle grinder. You got no one to blame but your own self if you don't. **Note - No Photo. Looks just like it does in the picture on the item page. A metal cats tongue in disc shape.

This thing is pure EVIL! It removes a lot of wood in a hurry. That’s exactly what I wanted. What I didn’t count on was how it would catch and kick back. I was holding onto the grinder really tightly. It would catch at random and kick backwards. So you need to hold on tight with both hands and a foot.

I bought two of these to grind down a stump with an angle grinder and it worked well over all. It these did the job well, taking down about 3 inches of wood on a foot and a half wide stump, bringing it below the surrounding grass. A couple of things to note. if it gets into dirt at all, it will eat up the teeth pretty quick (I knew I would do something dumb, which is why I bought two). Use a brass wire brush to clean out the teeth every now and then since these remove a good bit of wood and do get loaded up a bit over time. The big thing... DO NOT get greedy and DO NOT turn your angle grinder to the right and use the edge of the tool. Trying to take too much or using that edge will cause the disk to grab and WILL rip the grinder out of your hand, especially if it is a high torque electric grinder. No side handle or gorilla grip is going to keep the grinder in your hands. Its not a fault of the tool, and is 100% on the user to use their head and take their time. Be safe and happy grinding!
