Prior to this duvet cover we had a polyester Bedsure brand duvet cover on a Bedsure brand duvet insert. I would get hot every so often but I am a very hot sleeper anyways. Two months ago I purchased a Bedsure oversized king duvet (116" x 98" vs the standard king of 102" x 90") because I got tired of playing tug of war with my husband every night with the blankets. We needed a bigger duvet cover for the bigger duvet insert. The Bedsure duvet cover we had for our standard king duvet insert was polyester which is not breathable. I really wanted a 100% cotton cover this time to see if it helped with getting hot at night. We've had this cover for two months now and I'm really impressed with it. Our polyester cover we had prior to this one was too slippery with the insert and despite the ties anchoring it, the insert didn't stay aligned with the edges of the cover which was kind of annoying cause then you have parts of the duvet that are just cover and no insert. The fabric on this cover is a bit rougher vs slippery and that's actually a really good thing because the difference in texture compared to the insert helps it stay in place much better! I wasn't 100% sold on the texture of the cover when I first took it out of the package but I actually really really love it. It's not ridiculously soft and it's not too rough or scratchy. I got two colors of these covers - Forest Green and Tannish Linen Grey. I figured I'd return one once I saw the colors in person but I loved this cover so much I ended up keeping both! The zipper on this Forest Green one matches the cover exactly and it's very long and generous in order to get the insert in easily. I hate when covers have a small opening for the insert and you have to fight it in there. The cover has 8 ties to anchor the duvet down which is perfect and keeps it in place so well! This is a great duvet set. I got the sage green and it is the perfect color! There can be different shades of sage, and this one is on the lighter end which is exactly what I wanted. I took a picture of it in the warm lighting of my bedroom and another one in more natural sunlight. It’s not super soft but it is just soft enough and feels nice to lay on. It does have a natural wrinkle look to it because it is 100% cotton linen-like so keep that in mind if that’s not something you want. People should know that the “wrinkle free” fabrics tend to be made of polyester which is just shedding microplastics and leaching chemicals into our skin, so natural wrinkles = a good thing!!! These bed sheets are soft and comfortable to sleep on every night. They fit my mattress well and stay in place without sliding off. After washing them several times, they still look and feel like new. They do wrinkle a little if left in the dryer too long, but it’s not a big issue. The quality is great for the price, and they feel much more expensive than they are. I would definitely recommend these sheets to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable set. ... show more

I waned the duvet cover and shams in cold water and hung outside to dry. The set washed beautifully. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the color is a little bit too creamy (yellowish tone) as some off whites tend to be. The photo doesn’t show the /creamy yellow tinge to it but it still looks good. Quality seems good and I like the zipper in stead of buttons. Just put on my bed and it is fairly soft. Overall very happy with purchase. ... show more

I am head over heels in love with this bedding set. I own three. The dark green is the best forest green I found, the natural “wrinkled” look is much more relaxed and rustic than messy, and the feel is incredible. Definitely not buttery soft fabric, but I don’t expect that from 100% cotton. I find it a good level of softness and drastically(!) cooler than any kind of synthetic sheets. It’s not an actively cooling material, but the kind where if you flip your pillow to the cold side, you will be in heaven. I love getting into bed and hate getting out. How I got here and why it's a good choice: I was unfortunately faced with replacing all of my bedding after my apartment washer leaked oil on my prior sheet set, satin pillow cases, duvet cover, and duvet insert. Stained beyond repair. I was so overwhelmed trying to choose clean, new items at a decent price. I read countless reviews, looked at so many photos to see colors and textures in different lights, added dozens of items to my cart and replaced them with others. I added this MooMee duvet cover to my Amazon cart in 3 different colors and switched between 2 different materials. It took me FOUR weeks to finally make a choice and check out! And I am so grateful to be so extremely happy with my choice. 0% buyer's remorse here! As a cat mom, my #1 positive thing about this duvet cover is as follows. I've had this duvet cover for a week now and can speak with certainty: THE CAT HAIR RELEASES SO EASILY FROM THIS MATERIAL! My cat is a Himalayan-Ragdoll mix and as you can see, she's quite fluffy. I look at her and her hair sticks to me. Her hair is extremely fine, extremely long, and it flOATS. When I lint brush (I have the type with the directional bristles) this duvet cover, the material releases more of the hair, more quickly, than my previous 10-year-old linen-like cover from The Big Swedish Place. I primarily love this duvet for the ease of getting it 95% floof-free, in not a very extensive amount of time! For the rest of it: I personally love the texture the linen look gives. I don't like a smooth duvet cover, I feel it lacks character, so the somewhat wrinkled look is not a drawback to me at all. For being linen-like, it's quite soft and the weight is such that it's really light and wonderful for the summer without feeling cheap. I will be a bit sad to switch to my velvet cover in the autumn and winter because I really do love this thing. The queen size cover is about 2" wider on each side than the duvet insert I have, but this will be replaced at some point, as it is also a decade old and--as I mentioned--is also now ruined. Melting emoji. A new one may fit better, since I'm unsure if the Swedish ones were slightly smaller than standard back then. **Hopefully Big Bro Amazon doesn't get mad about this, but I know how difficult it is to color-match via internet buying. Should anyone be looking for monochrome coordination for this type of palette, I added a photo of all my items together, listed clock-wise from top left. Sheets are the only non-Amazon-sourced item. I got extremely lucky to have everything arrive and be of the same hue. Specifically, this duvet cover and the Quince sheets are nearly a dead-on match. Sheets are the exact same hue as this MooMee cover, just a tint lighter. I’m giving this duvet cover set 5 stars because it completely delivered on the look, feel, and quality I was hoping for when redecorating my bedroom. I ordered the Solid Black Oversized Queen 98" x 98" because I specifically wanted a fuller, slightly oversized look on the bed rather than something that barely covered the sides. That was the right decision. The extra size gives the bed a more finished, layered, designer-style appearance, especially if you like a relaxed but upscale bedroom look. The fabric is 100% washed cotton, but it has that linen-like texture that makes it look much more expensive in person. It has a casual, slightly textured finish without looking messy or cheap. The black color gives the room a dramatic, high-end feel, and it works beautifully if you are going for a modern, masculine, classic, or hotel-inspired bedroom. The quality feels excellent. It is soft, breathable, comfortable, and substantial enough that I expect it to hold up well over time. It does not have that thin, flimsy feel that some duvet covers have. My designer also loved it, which confirmed that it was the right choice for the room. The only thing I would mention is that, because I chose black and I have three dogs, pet hair does show on it. That is not a flaw in the duvet cover itself; it is just the reality of a dark fabric in a home with pets. I keep a lint brush nearby, and that solves the issue for me. If you have pets and choose the black color, just know you may need to maintain it a little more than a lighter shade. Overall, this duvet cover looks beautiful, feels comfortable, and gives the bed a very polished, expensive look.
