So disappointed in Toyota - the cargo net they provided with our new Rav4 stretches across the BOTTOM of the trunk. Fine if you want to keep things down and not sliding around if you drive like a maniac. Useless if you want to keep things from falling out when you open the trunk. This works great and is really easy to install. I recommend screwing the mounting clips into place (I know, who wants to put holes in their brand new car?). Screwing them in will make for a secure mount, and you're not going to have to take them out again anyway. They will look factory installed - like Toyota did what they should have done at the factory.

I was skeptical about purchasing this, but for $10 it was worth the risk of it would truly work for car. Pros: It worked for my car. Cons: Lack of instructions or providing a video link for installation. Figuring out if this would truly work for my car. Kind of a pain to install. What worked for me on my car. The two top plastic clips that hold the carpeted inner lining need to be removed. That is where you place the round hook. The screws that came with the net kit were useless, I threw them away. I replaced them with two machine screws and one nut. It’s kind of tricky to do, but behind the hole where the hook goes over the plastic clips was that I removed. There is a metal bracket with a hole that you can put the machine screw through the hook, carpet, then the bracket. The trick is getting the nut back there to tighten down, it can be done with some patience. This will secure the top hooks much better than the screws provided. Once both of those were installed and tightened down the open the net and hook it on the top two hooks. If you look down the car already has two hooks on the bottom (last picture) the you can secure the bottom of the net two. A little sweat equity and it’s nice and secure and I am confident it will last for many years. If figure the net will need to be replaced after so many years of use. I am sure this is much easier to install in an SUV than a sedan.

A little loose but useable, great price I found it helpful to use a carabiner to constrain the net when only partly filling the net, such as carrying a single bag of groceries and a gallon of milk, to keep them from sliding back and forth across the width of the net.

I purchased this, hoping it would prevent that and hold items more securely and boy does it. It was so easy to install, though my van did have existing hooks. bought this for my ridgeline pickup. fits perfect against back of cab. use it to hold gas cans in place when refilling. not big enough to cover entire bed (i have another for that). used bungee cords before but stuff would slip between them. this is a lot better. like the cords i leave this connected to the tie downs and can stuff in it when needed. very nice.
