These lights are great. They were easy to install (peel and stick). The sensor can pick up motion about six to eight feet away. I installed them on my on my stairs. They are absolutely fantastic. The price was also great. The lights project the right amount of light for night time stairs use.

Yes at night my steps going up to bed look like a theater but so much more convenient than hitting the hall light. Also great for lighting your way to the bathroom. They only come on if it's dark no light around. Say if you have a downstairs hall light on and you are walking up the steps (had three new lights stuck on stairway going up bottom of wall) they will not light. Sometimes in the dark they all will light up one at a time and when you are almost side by side with them. We have the longer thinner one of the ceiling of our down cellar staircase and it lights up as soon as the door is opened and is brighter. That light is a usb one no batteries. So, they do work but if you are looking for a brightness forget it. We wanted them as a light to guide us down the stairs better at night, but these just aren't up to the task. Also, they do fall off the wall, magnet is not strong. ... show more
