These are a great setup, I like everything about it. I have 2 gripes I'll save for the end. The knockouts don't need a tool to remove. It comes with 4 port push in wire nuts. The pigtail to the light is king enough that you can push the box out of the way in the attic. The lights are nice, plenty bright, 5 color settings and handle dimming ok. My 2 gripes: the edges of the electrical box are razor sharp and I've been constantly worried about cutting my hands. And, the 1200 lumen lights are WAY too bright for a bedroom with an 8 foot ceiling. I've got my dimmers set to 25% and should have gone with 800 lumen lights. I installed these in a closet and also used them to replace existing can lights in my basement. Very easy to install, and love the convenience of a switch to select color temperature. I set a whiter light for my closets and a warmer light for the living area and didn't have to purchase separate lights. Included wire nuts work great. Purchase a 6.25" hole saw and these just pop in. I use one with a dust catcher to reduce mess. Only thing missing are box connectors to protect the wire from the sharp edges of the box cutouts. 3/8" plastic push-in box connectors work great and are much cheaper and easier to use than the metal screw-down ones from years past. ... show more
