This bed frame is amazing. It's soft, cushion-y, cozy, thick, great color - looks really nice. I ordered the beige. When we used our 10-inch mattress without a box spring, it was too low and looked really bad, so I bought a 4-inch low-profile box spring and that raised the mattress up to a perfect height - you can still see a good amount of the headboard with my pillow shams. The mattress height is higher than the foot board with the box spring but still looks great. My husband and son put the bed frame together and they didn't have any problems. They were able to follow the instructions in the accompanying booklet without any issues. We are very happy with this purchase.

I LOVE this bed frame! It’s beautiful and works perfectly in my room. I paired it with a dusty pink bedspread and it looks so soft and lovely. It was easy to put together and a nice height. It has held up well and is very sturdy. Great quality for the price.

Purchased the king-size bed. Not only is it a beautiful shade of grey, but it is also very sturdy and fairly easy to put together. The sides of the bed are low, so you can't put anything under the bed like storage containers.

I love the finished product and the tuffed velvet headboard is tall and very soft. The bed was lower than expected but I used 7 3/4 inch feet extendsionsI bought separately and it did the trick to rise the bed a bit higher. 12' inch mattress will probably work best but I was able to fit a 14' comfortably, but note, fitting in matresses can be a little difficult due to the wingback design. The bed weighs a lot due to the tuffed end pieces, and assembling it was quite difficult for one person, I'd suggest two, the allen wrench that came with the set is quite cumbersome to use, Id prefer/suggest a ratchet wrench to do the job quicker and easier. All in all, its a perfect size and shape with a comfortable design with no issues on build quality.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Luxurious, Soft, and Surprisingly Easy to Assemble I recently purchased the AMERLIFE King Size Platform Bed Frame in the cream chenille upholstery, and I couldn't be happier with it. The bed has a truly luxurious look and feel—it's incredibly soft to the touch, and the rich cream color adds a warm, elegant touch to my bedroom. Assembly was very manageable. I was able to put it together by myself in about 3 hours. The instructions were clear, and while it's a large piece, everything fit together well without any major hiccups. One of the best parts is that I’m using it with my adjustable bed base, and it works perfectly! The design accommodates the adjustable frame seamlessly, which was a big plus for me. The scroll wingback headboard and footboard, along with the button tufting, give it a classic, high-end appearance that really elevates the room. Highly recommend if you're looking for something stylish, functional, and comfortable.

When my BF was putting together the bed, not going to lie, I was a little bit nervous because of how low the frame sat to the ground, but once you put the mattress on it, it looks good and it’s not low at all. I’m also 5’1 though so it’s perfect to me, but someone taller, it may be low. I used a 14inch mattress, but I think a 16 in would’ve been better. There is a 2 inch gap, but it does not bother me bc I cover it with my pillows. The velvet is gorgeous and so soft! And it truly does not need a box spring. Took about 2-3 hours to put together. My bf said there were a lot of bolts/screws needing to be put in so it takes a minute. With 2 people should take 1.5 hours. I would recommend this bed for like a guest bedroom or a college student. It’s also very sturdy and not too heavy to move around.
