For the price, this frame is nearly unbeatable for the features it provides. Our home has limited closet space so being able to utilize the space under our bed has helped massively. Pro: - Looks great - Sturdy, we have a heavy mattress and with 2 people and 2 large dogs it doesn't move a millimeter - the shelf and power adapter at the head of the bed are super convenient and work well - the bed hydraulics function well and are easy to use. Cons: - It takes a decent amount of time to assemble, took me about 2 hours but I was also watching football so the average person could likely do it in around 90 minutes - a lot of space is needed for assembly as you have to lower the frame into the 'shell' - to properly utilize the hydraulic lift, so it stays open you need to pull the pillows and comforter off. this is likely due to the weight of our mattress, ours is 18" thick so regular ones should be just fine.     • Solid, nice-looking bed frame but…

This bed frame arrived in a huge box that was extremely heavy. I had to take the pieces out of the box and shlep them upstairs in small batches. The delivery service apparently dropped the box at some point and put a gouge in one of the side panels. This was probably due to its weight and awkward size. I don’t mind the gouge as it isn’t noticeable once the bed is made. This is one of the most challenging DIY furniture pieces I’ve ever had to put together. The instructions are pretty easy to follow but this bed frame requires a lot of tedious steps to finally get together. There are dozens of bolts and screws of different sizes to keep track of and the tools they provide are subpar so you should have your own better tools available to make things go more smoothly. You’ll definitely want someone to help you put it together as well. Overall, I’m happy with it and it doesn’t shake or squeak one bit. It’s a bit lower on the floor than I would like but that’s the trade off to not having to deal with a box spring. My current mattress actually feels a bit better on the new, more solid bed frame. ... show more

Bought this bed as a gift but it was definitely a success! The bed was not too complicated but did take two people to make it easier. It provides ample sleeping space but even greater storage capacity. The bed feels fairly sturdy and well built. I like the headboard storage spaces and the electric access is really very nice. Easy to install but does take some time if you are doing it by yourself. Mattress support material could be a tad better quality but all things considered it is well built. Recommend ordering!!

I bought this almost a year ago now and it’s held up so well! We’re not very gentle on our furniture so this has been a nice surprise for the price. It doesn’t squeak or creak which was a problem with our last bed frame, and the mattress doesn’t slide at all because of the bar under the headboard. I do wish it was a bit taller but that’s on me for not looking at dimensions. I keep my bed linens and gift wrapping supplies underneath it, and my cats like to go under there to sleep sometimes. It fits a decent amount but be careful with the height of your items, I broke a tote that was a bit too tall. Also watch out for the corners, they’ll get your shins AND your toes. ... show more

The AMERLIFE King Size Lift-Up Storage Bed Frame is an excellent piece of furniture with a rustic grey finish that beautifully complements our bedroom décor. The build feels sturdy, and the integrated charging station is a convenient feature that eliminates the need for extra cords and outlets by the bedside. The storage compartment under the lifting mechanism is spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of room for bedding, seasonal clothing, or other items. Unfortunately, the lift-up mechanism on my unit arrived non-functional, which was a bit disappointing. However, the seller was prompt and courteous, assuring me a replacement part would be sent. I’m confident this issue will be resolved soon and will happily update my review to 5 stars once it is. Assembly was straightforward and took about two hours with two people. The frame doesn’t require a box spring, which simplifies setup and keeps it quiet during use. Despite the initial setback with the lifting mechanism, I’m still impressed with the design and functionality of this bed frame. Delivery through Amazon was smooth and on time, and the packaging ensured all components arrived undamaged.
