We love our new frame. It's sturdy, practical, and attractive. Assembly took me 4 or 5 hours but was easy to understand. I recommend having another person and a toolbox to speed up the process. The headboard is difficult to move by yourself. As predicted, it shipped in two boxes with different delivery dates. It's plenty sturdy for everyday use as well as adult activities. I used the little square pads to keep the corners from damaging the walls. Our hidden cabinet's holes were drilled just slightly misaligned so the door isn't level and makes a little contact on one side but is forgivable. It's the perfect place to keep our private accessories hidden and accessible. Lights and power outlet work just fine. Now if we could figure out a way to hide those cords... The drawers are flawed. It's easy to crush your fingers if you're not careful. And if you have cats, they will commandeer the space under your bed and never let you keep them shut. You'll come home to them ajar every day. So that's it. No damage or missing parts. Well worth the money for the style and storage. ... show more

Yes, when you open the box it is somewhat intimidating. Both boxes came the same day. The design, the instructions and the packaging of hardware was clearly marked! The company did a GREAT job making it simple and easy to understand! It took 2 adults 2 hours to complete the build. My husband used an electric screwdriver with an alan wrench attachment, which was so much better than the manual tools provided. We were careful not to over tighten anything! The wood in manufactured wood but it is all attached to a very sturdy metal frame! We like the power plug/usb and the storage! We do light the white option. It comes with a remote, it has a dimmer and option to have the light go off in a specific amount of time. The wire drawers underneath are ok for t-shirts, shorts or jeans ( nothing that could fall through like socks). Be sure to lift and lock into place on the frame. Gorgeous and sturdy bed! I love it! Took my 13 year old son & I about 3 hours to put together. Directions were extremely easy to follow but in a lot of pieces which I expected. Absolutely love the bookshelf and hiding compartment in the headboard. The drawers on the bottom are huge but shallow but did fit everything I needed to go under there. Only downfall I will have to say is that the bed comes in 2 packages and did not arrive on the same day. The second package arrived 2 days later after the first. And the second package did contain some parts for the frame so I would not of been able to put together the frame ahead of time and wait for the drawer parts to come after. I recommend waiting until you receive both packages to start building. ... show more

    • Good quality and quiet bed
This queen size bed had been a good purchase. I assembled it by myself in a few hours and the directions were pretty simple and easy to follow. You have to follow the details fairly precisely and I can see how not paying attention to some details can get it assembled incorrectly. The wood is engineered wood, not real wood, so it can be chipped / scratched. The framing is mostly metal and it's quite stable. I have a 14" Nectar mattress which fits well on it and the bed is very quiet. The UBS charging port on top works well though I think it would have been better placed in one of the cubbys. The "bookcase" headboard is good for laying down books, remote controls, sleep mask, etc. The drawers underneath were easy to assemble but note they are actually separate from the bed. They are on rollers that roll directly on the floor. There is a little screw space in the board that connects onto a tiny screw head that is attached to the bed to keep the drawers closed. I have tile floor so they roll out easily but if you have a deep plush carpet it could be problematic getting them to roll out and keeping things out of the wheels. If you move the bed they can come loose and then are left laying out on the floor and have to be put back in place. Be careful at night though, the wood frame pieces are solid and have some sharp corners and can cut / slice your toes / shins if you bump into it. And keep little kids away, if they fall on / against it they could get cut up. So overall it's fairly simple, plain and functional bed without any bells or whistles that seems stable and quiet with good quality workmanship that should last a long time. I bought this bed for my teenager. Delivered promptly, relatively easy to assemble. The instruction photos were easy to follow. The bed is sturdy once assembled. My teenager loves the lights and the built in outlets. My only complaint is there is no kind of edge to hold the mattress in place. The mattress simply sits on top of the frame and sometimes slides out of place. Will have to come up with a DIY to solve this problem. Otherwise, we are happy with the purchase! ... show more

Okay so to start off, it comes in two boxes. I didn’t know this and one was delivered and my tracking said delivered so I put together the frame and didn’t have the drawers or the outlets or the LEDs (all of the reasons I bought the bed). They came the day after. It comes with everything needed to assemble in the box with the frame. I do recommend yawing your own screwdriver though. it DOES leave ok exactly like the picture though. And seems pretty sturdy. Only had one bit of damage from incorrect length dowel. But it’s easy to cover with the shelf. The drawers have a bolt to lock them to the frame (awesome). Height wise with a 12in mattress the top hits my knees (I’m 6’) so it’s medium height. The drawers are HUGE but shallow. The gaps in the wire are a bit big. wouldn’t recommend socks or underwear but for jeans and sweaters they would be perfect. Overall I thinks it’s a good value for the money. after putting it together, given the option, I would buy this again. Took about 3 hours to put together I total. ... show more
