My expectations were quite low, I'm not a huge fan of engineered wood. But the price was low and the storage was what I was looking for and needed! I put the bed together in sections over several days. The metal frame with the footboard was first. I put it in place, set the queen size box spring and mattress and we slept on it that night. To our surprise it fixed a sagging mattress. (Apparently, the box/mat set was not well supported with the old frame.) It was a great night sleep, quiet and comfortable. Next I put the drawers together. Two of the wheels were damaged, but were still functional (they might fall off easily). I have not yet looked into getting replacements. They are plastic wheels, it might be worthwhile to have a spare set. Lastly, I began to put together the headboard. That was the trickiest part, but the directions are very clear and the engineering is very clever. My husband helped with the headboard which was easier for two people to build. I was concerned that it might not work with the queen size boxspring, mattress and a 3" foam topper, but it all fits very well. Now, we are tall folks and this bed height is a bit higher than usual, but we love it. I thought I was going to need to buy another mattress set, but this bedframe is sturdy with many slats that supports the set we have. It has saved us money and given us a very comfortable night's rest. As of today we've been sleeping on it for over 2 weeks and I'm so pleasantly surprised by how much more comfortable I am. And we are happy with the headboard shelves, lighting and outlet, too. Overall, I feel this has been a great value. It's not difficult to assemble. Just read through the instructions and follow through one step at a time. It can be done in stages, like I did, so it wasn't too overwhelming.

We love our new frame. It's sturdy, practical, and attractive. Assembly took me 4 or 5 hours but was easy to understand. I recommend having another person and a toolbox to speed up the process. The headboard is difficult to move by yourself. As predicted, it shipped in two boxes with different delivery dates. It's plenty sturdy for everyday use as well as adult activities. I used the little square pads to keep the corners from damaging the walls. Our hidden cabinet's holes were drilled just slightly misaligned so the door isn't level and makes a little contact on one side but is forgivable. It's the perfect place to keep our private accessories hidden and accessible. Lights and power outlet work just fine. Now if we could figure out a way to hide those cords... The drawers are flawed. It's easy to crush your fingers if you're not careful. And if you have cats, they will commandeer the space under your bed and never let you keep them shut. You'll come home to them ajar every day. So that's it. No damage or missing parts. Well worth the money for the style and storage.

Overall the bed was easy to assemble. The metal frame was the easiest part to put together. The wood shelf section was not terribly difficult, but took some time due to the amount of pieces. The drawers are functional, but are in no way connected to the bed except for the single screw that holds it in place when it's slid into the bed. When removing the drawer, you have to lift up and pull the drawer to disconnect it, and then it becomes completely detached from the bed. The drawer has large gaps in the wire like mesh so only bigger items can be put in there without some kind of platform. The shelves up top are great for items and gives more storage in the bedroom. The closing compartment is fantastic for items you don't want readily visible. There are a couple issues with the frame. Once you put a mattress on it, the mattress becomes very soft and can squeeze between the bars. The mattress supporting bars can squeak and squeal when moving, getting in and getting out. We ended up getting a box spring to firm up the mattress where it should be and stop the squeak. The bed also it not very tall and brings even a thick mattress down very low. The frame is fairly sturdy and have not had issues with anything breaking. The wood color is also nice and matched other furniture we have gotten.

Stay far away from this bed. Headboard would never actually mount to frame. The bed rails were not level any way we set it up. Very hard to assemble due to no instructions besides pictures. It’s a true king. Does the job as a bed frame should. But as soon as I move at the end of the month I’ll be happy to take a slate hammer to the cheap head board.

If you set the correct expectations for the product, it definitely fulfills the role. I knew that the wood pieces were going to be pressed particle board, so I knew they would not be very strong. But this bed frame has a metal floor frame, so even if there's an issue with the wood, the bed will still be supported. It took us a while to build, the instructions were confusing, but we got through it. Honestly, it has been great for what it is. Absolutely love the Shelf space, the bed is supported very firmly by the floor frame, and for the price it's unbeatable. For a true piece of furniture made out of solid wood, crafted by a carpenter, we would be looking at thousands of dollars.. but this fulfills the role, and doesn't break the bank when we are struggling paycheck to paycheck. Just set the correct expectations for the product, and you won't be disappointed. But do not expect it to be the type of bed frame you would have slept on 75 years ago. Also, we did not install the drawers, that way we could have all of the room under the bed free to store everything we wanted. I can't vouch for the drawers, but the frame itself has been wonderful so far. If you're good with your hands, and can figure things out, I do recommend this bed. Just remember, it's not an expensive bed frame, so expect that type of quality. But I can't stress enough, the metal floor frame makes up for everything else, it's incredibly strong, and it's wonderful to not have constant squeaks every time we move around.

This queen size bed had been a good purchase. I assembled it by myself in a few hours and the directions were pretty simple and easy to follow. You have to follow the details fairly precisely and I can see how not paying attention to some details can get it assembled incorrectly. The wood is engineered wood, not real wood, so it can be chipped / scratched. The framing is mostly metal and it's quite stable. I have a 14" Nectar mattress which fits well on it and the bed is very quiet. The UBS charging port on top works well though I think it would have been better placed in one of the cubbys. The "bookcase" headboard is good for laying down books, remote controls, sleep mask, etc. The drawers underneath were easy to assemble but note they are actually separate from the bed. They are on rollers that roll directly on the floor. There is a little screw space in the board that connects onto a tiny screw head that is attached to the bed to keep the drawers closed. I have tile floor so they roll out easily but if you have a deep plush carpet it could be problematic getting them to roll out and keeping things out of the wheels. If you move the bed they can come loose and then are left laying out on the floor and have to be put back in place. Be careful at night though, the wood frame pieces are solid and have some sharp corners and can cut / slice your toes / shins if you bump into it. And keep little kids away, if they fall on / against it they could get cut up. So overall it's fairly simple, plain and functional bed without any bells or whistles that seems stable and quiet with good quality workmanship that should last a long time. I'm happy with my purchase.

Loved this bed when I first purchased it, it had a lengthy set up process but once it was said and done it worked great and the materials felt of decent enough quality. My biggest gripe was that because of the drawers night stands are basically out of the question unless you’re okay with restricted access. However, The problem is that after a couple months nearly all of the metal bars that support the mattress are bent and cannot fit back in their original holes. The bars are upsettingly cheap and easily fall out, meaning that my bed sinks in nearly everytime I try to sit on it, and those that are still in regular condition barely have the rubber siding that helps hold them in because it folds inside itself and can’t be returned to its regular position. Unless you have someone counter weighting nearly everything you do the bars will dislodge and be incredibly hard to put back. In short, I’m incredibly upset with the quality for what I paid. I do not recommend that anyone purchase it because you could spend your money on something that will last much longer or at the very least will be replaceable. Once these bars go there’s no bending them back or buying new ones and the rubber sides are specific to the bed so there’s no hope purchasing new ones of those either. I made a mistake buying it without realizing how much of a difference it makes having loose bars instead of a screwed in or permanently attached structure. Might work out better if you have a “hard” mattress, I own a purple and I do believe part of the issue is that it does not work with more flexible mattresses as if gives the bars more ability to move up and out of their spots. Buyer beware, you should look literally anywhere else for a bed, the LED lights and charging station are not worth it in the slightest because you’ll be sleeping on the ground half a year later anyway. I have never been so disappointed with a product this is the first review I’ve ever written in years of online shopping. Do not buy, you’re doing yourself a favor. UPDATE: I changed my original 1 star review to 3 because the seller was incredibly accommodating with my concerns and it’s clear this is an unusual problem. As they did everything in their power to help me out they have reearned a lot of my trust as a company. I still wouldn’t recommend this style bed, but it would be worth checking out some of their other items as I have full assurance they would take care of any issues.

After having a furniture delivery fiasco, we told the furniture store to stuff it and looked online for a bed. Not only was this a 10th of the price, it was easy to put together. The hardest part was getting the boxes into the house. The whole set comes in two boxes and they are incredibly heavy. Once husband (mostly) got them to the room, I built the bed myself (52 year old weak me). I have put a lot of furniture together in my years and was really shocked at how easy this set was. The holes were all perfectly aligned, the screw holes in the wood were sunk with metal threading. The tools needed were provided. It took me a couple hours but have me no problems at all. We did have s but of damage to one box and had a resulting squished edge to a board. The quality of the set is good for the price. The wood itself isn't as nice as the set we originally bought, but was nicer than I expected it to be. At the end of the day, the young adult who's bed it is is happy, so I am too.
