This queen size bed had been a good purchase. I assembled it by myself in a few hours and the directions were pretty simple and easy to follow. You have to follow the details fairly precisely and I can see how not paying attention to some details can get it assembled incorrectly. The wood is engineered wood, not real wood, so it can be chipped / scratched. The framing is mostly metal and it's quite stable. I have a 14" Nectar mattress which fits well on it and the bed is very quiet. The UBS charging port on top works well though I think it would have been better placed in one of the cubbys. The "bookcase" headboard is good for laying down books, remote controls, sleep mask, etc. The drawers underneath were easy to assemble but note they are actually separate from the bed. They are on rollers that roll directly on the floor. There is a little screw space in the board that connects onto a tiny screw head that is attached to the bed to keep the drawers closed. I have tile floor so they roll out easily but if you have a deep plush carpet it could be problematic getting them to roll out and keeping things out of the wheels. If you move the bed they can come loose and then are left laying out on the floor and have to be put back in place. Be careful at night though, the wood frame pieces are solid and have some sharp corners and can cut / slice your toes / shins if you bump into it. And keep little kids away, if they fall on / against it they could get cut up. So overall it's fairly simple, plain and functional bed without any bells or whistles that seems stable and quiet with good quality workmanship that should last a long time. I'm happy with my purchase.

Customer service was wonderful to work with. I needed this in a timely manner because my speciam needs niece was coming and I needed a a bed for her. They made sure the bed came and got here before she did. The bed was easy to to put together. I did it by myself and I have back issues. Since it came in 2 boxes, I made sure all my parts were there. All that came in the second box were the drawers and the usb box/power cord. While I waited for box number 2 to come, I assembled the rest of the bed. All the parts fit correctly and it is a nice and sturdy bed! I love the shelved! It makes for some nice decoration spots. My niece can put her books and her writing supplies on them. The charging usb port is on top of the shelves/bed frame so she can lay in bed and her phone will reach her easily while charging. I highly recommend this bed! I was scared with some of the reviews but my experience was perfect!! Not a single scratch on the wood. Everything assembled easily. And customer service was quick to respond and top knotch! 10/10!! What you should know is the drawers just run on wheels on the ground. There are no rails or anything. I love this so I dont have to worry about lining anything up or trying to fit a drawer in. The drawer locks into place with a notch. Love it!!

It does come in 2 separate boxes, the headboard stuff in one, and about a week later, the drawers along with the electrical plug in that goes on top of the headboard in box #2. My wife and I took a couple hours and actually had fun putting it together as the instructions were well printed, explained and diagrams, along with the fact that once you see it, it is almost self-explanatory. When box #2 arrived, I was able to put them together myself in about 30 minutes. It was really easy; however, I was a little sad that the drawers (sides, bottom and back,) were a much cheaper metal grid and the wheels were really cheaply made. There is also an odd (latching bolt) that allows you to basically lift the drawer into the metal side bar to hold it in place, but without an outside knob or handle, you have to get your fingers under the drawer and life it up a little bit and then pull out. The drawers are NOT mounted on side rails, so they will simply roll out and in when you push them in. I heard many people say the drawers will roll out on their own, but I suspect they are not latching that bolt that is on the inside of the drawer front, into the slot on the metal side frame. We will be purchasing some small knobs for the drawers and secure them to the outside of the drawers to help facilitate opening and closing the drawers. Otherwise, this is a great sturdy, product that is worth the cost.

Stay far away from this bed. Headboard would never actually mount to frame. The bed rails were not level any way we set it up. Very hard to assemble due to no instructions besides pictures. It’s a true king. Does the job as a bed frame should. But as soon as I move at the end of the month I’ll be happy to take a slate hammer to the cheap head board.

My expectations were quite low, I'm not a huge fan of engineered wood. But the price was low and the storage was what I was looking for and needed! I put the bed together in sections over several days. The metal frame with the footboard was first. I put it in place, set the queen size box spring and mattress and we slept on it that night. To our surprise it fixed a sagging mattress. (Apparently, the box/mat set was not well supported with the old frame.) It was a great night sleep, quiet and comfortable. Next I put the drawers together. Two of the wheels were damaged, but were still functional (they might fall off easily). I have not yet looked into getting replacements. They are plastic wheels, it might be worthwhile to have a spare set. Lastly, I began to put together the headboard. That was the trickiest part, but the directions are very clear and the engineering is very clever. My husband helped with the headboard which was easier for two people to build. I was concerned that it might not work with the queen size boxspring, mattress and a 3" foam topper, but it all fits very well. Now, we are tall folks and this bed height is a bit higher than usual, but we love it. I thought I was going to need to buy another mattress set, but this bedframe is sturdy with many slats that supports the set we have. It has saved us money and given us a very comfortable night's rest. As of today we've been sleeping on it for over 2 weeks and I'm so pleasantly surprised by how much more comfortable I am. And we are happy with the headboard shelves, lighting and outlet, too. Overall, I feel this has been a great value. It's not difficult to assemble. Just read through the instructions and follow through one step at a time. It can be done in stages, like I did, so it wasn't too overwhelming.

I think this bed frame is adorable, I mostly bought it due to the fact that I have a pet bird who likes to hide in any crevice she can find. On my old frame there was cardboard surrounding the outside to prevent her from going under, but it was inconvenient to access items under my bed and it was hideous. When it arrived, the packing was very damaged along with some scratches on the wood. People say theirs arrived in two boxes, but mine was in one and very heavy(definitely two person job). My biggest issues I would say is it took ages to build (5-6ish hours with my mom’s help) and the backing of the shelves is terrible quality (there is literally duck tape on it). The frame itself seems sturdy enough but the support bars feel poor quality and after a year or two I fear they are going to bend. Another issue I have is the storage drawers are not on any tracks( not the biggest issue) but what I dislike is how it is very cheap quality and held together by multiple clips that if you try to stuff a bunch of heavy ish items, the drawers probably won’t support the weight. Finally the shelves that can be placed higher or lower easily come off (I think the cut outs where the shelf rests are not deep enough). I only bought this bed because it was Black Friday, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again, especially not full price, I think they could do better in my opinion:( sorry if it comes off rude but I was really excited for this bed and I’m pretty disappointed about it

I love, love, love this bed! And one of the things I love most about it is that I was able to put it together BY MYSELF, despite the fact that the instructions say "two or more people." The assembly directions were very clear. The only time I had some difficulty was when I couldn't locate a part that turned out to be in the bottom of the second box (the bed comes in two boxes--one for most of the bed frame components, the other for the drawer components). It really gave this old woman a self-esteem boost to put this together. The quality of the bed itself is also good. Only one board was pre-drilled very slightly askew, and it doesn't impair appearance or function. The wooden components are made to be fastened together with dowels and metal cam connectors, so this is a sturdy piece of furniture when assembled. My main complaint in the bed's advertising is that it claims not to need a box springs, but even though we bought a much-thicker-than-usual mattress, we still ended up needing to buy a low-profile box springs. If the bottom board of the headboard came down further, it wouldn't be an issue. But there was a gap of a couple of inches between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the board; in addition to losing things down the gap all the time, it might actually be a safety hazard if your arm got caught in there.

We love our new frame. It's sturdy, practical, and attractive. Assembly took me 4 or 5 hours but was easy to understand. I recommend having another person and a toolbox to speed up the process. The headboard is difficult to move by yourself. As predicted, it shipped in two boxes with different delivery dates. It's plenty sturdy for everyday use as well as adult activities. I used the little square pads to keep the corners from damaging the walls. Our hidden cabinet's holes were drilled just slightly misaligned so the door isn't level and makes a little contact on one side but is forgivable. It's the perfect place to keep our private accessories hidden and accessible. Lights and power outlet work just fine. Now if we could figure out a way to hide those cords... The drawers are flawed. It's easy to crush your fingers if you're not careful. And if you have cats, they will commandeer the space under your bed and never let you keep them shut. You'll come home to them ajar every day. So that's it. No damage or missing parts. Well worth the money for the style and storage.
