    • Very nice bedframe!
Yes, when you open the box it is somewhat intimidating. Both boxes came the same day. The design, the instructions and the packaging of hardware was clearly marked! The company did a GREAT job making it simple and easy to understand! It took 2 adults 2 hours to complete the build. My husband used an electric screwdriver with an alan wrench attachment, which was so much better than the manual tools provided. We were careful not to over tighten anything! The wood in manufactured wood but it is all attached to a very sturdy metal frame! We like the power plug/usb and the storage! We do light the white option. It comes with a remote, it has a dimmer and option to have the light go off in a specific amount of time. The wire drawers underneath are ok for t-shirts, shorts or jeans ( nothing that could fall through like socks). Be sure to lift and lock into place on the frame.     • Good quality and quiet bed

This queen size bed had been a good purchase. I assembled it by myself in a few hours and the directions were pretty simple and easy to follow. You have to follow the details fairly precisely and I can see how not paying attention to some details can get it assembled incorrectly. The wood is engineered wood, not real wood, so it can be chipped / scratched. The framing is mostly metal and it's quite stable. I have a 14" Nectar mattress which fits well on it and the bed is very quiet. The UBS charging port on top works well though I think it would have been better placed in one of the cubbys. The "bookcase" headboard is good for laying down books, remote controls, sleep mask, etc. The drawers underneath were easy to assemble but note they are actually separate from the bed. They are on rollers that roll directly on the floor. There is a little screw space in the board that connects onto a tiny screw head that is attached to the bed to keep the drawers closed. I have tile floor so they roll out easily but if you have a deep plush carpet it could be problematic getting them to roll out and keeping things out of the wheels. If you move the bed they can come loose and then are left laying out on the floor and have to be put back in place. Be careful at night though, the wood frame pieces are solid and have some sharp corners and can cut / slice your toes / shins if you bump into it. And keep little kids away, if they fall on / against it they could get cut up. So overall it's fairly simple, plain and functional bed without any bells or whistles that seems stable and quiet with good quality workmanship that should last a long time. Gorgeous and sturdy bed! I love it! Took my 13 year old son & I about 3 hours to put together. Directions were extremely easy to follow but in a lot of pieces which I expected. Absolutely love the bookshelf and hiding compartment in the headboard. The drawers on the bottom are huge but shallow but did fit everything I needed to go under there. Only downfall I will have to say is that the bed comes in 2 packages and did not arrive on the same day. The second package arrived 2 days later after the first. And the second package did contain some parts for the frame so I would not of been able to put together the frame ahead of time and wait for the drawer parts to come after. I recommend waiting until you receive both packages to start building. ... show more

Pay attention while you are assembling it, it will do what it says. Dimensions are accurate. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you are bigger people. Me and my partner are under 350lbs combined, and that's what I'd trust this frame at. If you are combined over 400lbs, get something stronger. Lights work, drawers are good, looks great. Just if you are large or overweight...get something sturdier ... show more

I bought this bed for my teenager. Delivered promptly, relatively easy to assemble. The instruction photos were easy to follow. The bed is sturdy once assembled. My teenager loves the lights and the built in outlets. My only complaint is there is no kind of edge to hold the mattress in place. The mattress simply sits on top of the frame and sometimes slides out of place. Will have to come up with a DIY to solve this problem. Otherwise, we are happy with the purchase! ... show more

    • Excellent product for a reasonable price

The bed is built with a solid metal frame and the lower part of the bed is encased by solid engineered wood panels that when detached reveal four storage drawers. The headboard has various compartments that makes this bed a very useful sleeping utility. It even contains an electric outlet and a phone charger place at the top of the headboard where it is not too noticeable. The bed looks beautiful and gives of a solid wooden appearance thanks to the quality of the engineered wood. It is not the regular particle board wood type of wood composite which might break in your hands as you work with it. Assembling the bed is super easy and it comes with extra hardware just in case you need it. The manufacturer claims it does not need a box spring and that could be so only if you use a heavy duty thick and hard mattress. If you have a lite mattress that you intend to place on it, my advice would be to do what I did and that is to get a large or two sheets of thin Masonite boards to put under the mattress. Those, you can get at homedepot. That solved this minor problem for me. Other than that, this product surpassed my expectations so I definitely would recommend it to others. ... show more
