I had to buy a new bed once my dog chewed my upholstered bed. As much as I loved my old bed I decided a solid wood frame would be best. It was easy to assemble but creeks frequently. It is enough to drive me crazy. I would return it It wouldn't be such a process

The video makes it very difficult to notice that the side rails are not one piece. Rather a total of 4. 2 per side. Only on the part of the video where they show the slats and metal frame can you see it if you're looking for it. Very deceiving. For the price you think you're getting a solid wood bed. I was going for a bohemian natural look and I got it with this natural wood bed frame. Good quality. The only downside was the assembly. It took two people and lots of patience. It’s definitely worth it in the end. Doesn’t squeak. Would buy again.
