Other reviews here mirror my own experience so far, it's a really impressive bed frame particularly for the price. I have a decently heavy mattress and the frame seems to have no problem with the lifting pistons to hold it up and in place. I know on other cheaper bed frames this has been noted as an issue, but so far this has held up well. Directions are quite good with the exception of two specific areas: 1. When mounting the moving arms, the photo for the second rail was slightly incorrect in my directions. You want to make it a mirror of the other side (on both arms they are mounted above the "T" portion). The directions are just slightly incorrect in terms of how the second arm pictured should be mounted. 2. When putting in the 3 bolts on each side to mount the arms, the two nuts closest to the headboard are a little tricky to mount. I found if you push the bolt up with just a bit of thread sticking out, then thread the bolt through, you shouldn't have any issue with clearance. If you try to push the bolt all the way through and thread the nut, there isn't enough room to tighten the nut. Also, might've just been my specific parts, but when mounting the pistons the nuts were incredibly tight - the included wrench wasn't cutting it so be aware you might want to grab an adjustable wrench to get those nuts on tighter. All in all, it's an incredibly inexpensive bed, but I'm very pleased with the look/functionality for our guest bedroom. Assembly is honestly not bad at all, and I had only those two tiny issues assembling by myself. I wish every bed used the wooden slat assembly this had, it was super easy. ... show more

Great frame. Feels very sturdy and heavy duty. Instructions were easy to follow and took me and my wife approximately 3 hours to put together. I did receive package with two cracked wood panels however when contacting seller they quickly responded and sent replacement parts. The frame makes no sounds and easily lifts and offers tons of storage space. I would definitely buy this frame again without hesitation. ... show more

Bed was delivered quickly. Definitely a two man carry. Super heavy. Came together quickly, hubs put it together in about 2 hours. Only trouble we had were the slats didn’t fit ! They were too small. Luckily we had some from the previous bed that went on without a hitch. Otherwise, I’m not sure what we would have done! So, the slats move when you open the bed which is a slight downfall. Pretty nice! Mine came in perfect condition. It's way more sturdy than what I thought it would be. I have a 12" mattress with a 3" memory foam topper. I'm over the recommended thickness of mattres so it slightly struggles, but still lifts it and holds. I like it a lot!

For the price, this frame is nearly unbeatable for the features it provides. Our home has limited closet space so being able to utilize the space under our bed has helped massively. Pro: - Looks great - Sturdy, we have a heavy mattress and with 2 people and 2 large dogs it doesn't move a millimeter - the shelf and power adapter at the head of the bed are super convenient and work well - the bed hydraulics function well and are easy to use. Cons: - It takes a decent amount of time to assemble, took me about 2 hours but I was also watching football so the average person could likely do it in around 90 minutes - a lot of space is needed for assembly as you have to lower the frame into the 'shell' - to properly utilize the hydraulic lift, so it stays open you need to pull the pillows and comforter off. this is likely due to the weight of our mattress, ours is 18" thick so regular ones should be just fine. Overall we love this bed frame and recommended it to two of our friends! ... show more

The AMERLIFE King Size Lift-Up Storage Bed Frame is an excellent piece of furniture with a rustic grey finish that beautifully complements our bedroom décor. The build feels sturdy, and the integrated charging station is a convenient feature that eliminates the need for extra cords and outlets by the bedside. The storage compartment under the lifting mechanism is spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of room for bedding, seasonal clothing, or other items. Unfortunately, the lift-up mechanism on my unit arrived non-functional, which was a bit disappointing. However, the seller was prompt and courteous, assuring me a replacement part would be sent. I’m confident this issue will be resolved soon and will happily update my review to 5 stars once it is. Assembly was straightforward and took about two hours with two people. The frame doesn’t require a box spring, which simplifies setup and keeps it quiet during use. Despite the initial setback with the lifting mechanism, I’m still impressed with the design and functionality of this bed frame. Delivery through Amazon was smooth and on time, and the packaging ensured all components arrived undamaged.
