This bed is gorgeous! I bought the king . It took me a good 4-5 hours to put together myself my husband was at work and the instructions looked easy enough. I’m a short woman in my 50s but did it with only using the Allen wrench and tools provided. We just moved into a house and my drill battery was dead so it was pure grit assembling it! I’m sure with two people and a drill it would have been much quicker to assemble. The only issue I had was the side board panels holes for R1and R2 not lining up that took me a good forty minutes trying to screw those on the side of the headboard! One screw just would not go in it’s almost at a diagonal angle it didn’t stop me though I got it in there ! So over all it’s possible to do without the drill if you have hours to spare by yourself ! I’m giving it five stars because it’s a beautiful made nice sturdy platform bed frame . This is exactly what I was looking for. Also the mattress size we bought was 14 inches.

This bed frame is amazing. It's soft, cushion-y, cozy, thick, great color - looks really nice. I ordered the beige. When we used our 10-inch mattress without a box spring, it was too low and looked really bad, so I bought a 4-inch low-profile box spring and that raised the mattress up to a perfect height - you can still see a good amount of the headboard with my pillow shams. The mattress height is higher than the foot board with the box spring but still looks great. My husband and son put the bed frame together and they didn't have any problems. They were able to follow the instructions in the accompanying booklet without any issues. We are very happy with this purchase.

I have been wanting a padded headboard for a while and really liked that this one had a footboard also. The quality is tremendous and the bed is super solid. It is not wobbly and does not shift or Creak as you are getting into it. It took about 30 minutes for two people to put together. There is no odor. The color is a very nice cream and it looks beautiful. We are very happy with this purchase

Really easy to put together. The only tricky part was the wings on the headboard I couldn’t get them to fit just right. Other than that, very sturdy and stylish. Would definitely order California king sheets for the best fit.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Luxurious, Soft, and Surprisingly Easy to Assemble I recently purchased the AMERLIFE King Size Platform Bed Frame in the cream chenille upholstery, and I couldn't be happier with it. The bed has a truly luxurious look and feel—it's incredibly soft to the touch, and the rich cream color adds a warm, elegant touch to my bedroom. Assembly was very manageable. I was able to put it together by myself in about 3 hours. The instructions were clear, and while it's a large piece, everything fit together well without any major hiccups. One of the best parts is that I’m using it with my adjustable bed base, and it works perfectly! The design accommodates the adjustable frame seamlessly, which was a big plus for me. When my BF was putting together the bed, not going to lie, I was a little bit nervous because of how low the frame sat to the ground, but once you put the mattress on it, it looks good and it’s not low at all. I’m also 5’1 though so it’s perfect to me, but someone taller, it may be low. I used a 14inch mattress, but I think a 16 in would’ve been better. There is a 2 inch gap, but it does not bother me bc I cover it with my pillows. The velvet is gorgeous and so soft! And it truly does not need a box spring. Took about 2-3 hours to put together. My bf said there were a lot of bolts/screws needing to be put in so it takes a minute. With 2 people should take 1.5 hours. I would recommend this bed for like a guest bedroom or a college student. It’s also very sturdy and not too heavy to move around.
