    • LOVE IT!
Color: White
We had an old heavy seat and just love the ease of install as well as the ease of closing. Not only love how light it is but it also looks great!

    • Nice replacement lid
Color: White
Perfect fit, exact replacement for old seat. Good quality and easy to install. Only drawback is the price. Way too expensive.

    • Very comfortable and closes slowly
Color: White
The lid closes very slowly, which is fine if you don't have a pet trying to jump into the toilet.

    • Looks good
Color: White
Does the job but the material is lightweight plastic. For the money, there are less expensive solutions.

    • American Standard worth the extra money.
Color: White
I found it difficult to install and had to ask my son for help. It is comfortable. It’s more expensive than I’d usually spend but my hope is it will last longer.

    • Expensive Toilet Seat
Color: White
The American Standard 5020A65G.020 Traditional EL Luxury Seat looks really good and was easy to install. I knocked off a star because it is expensive, needs an indention to easily lift the lid and you will need to have a very slim toilet lever if it is on the front of your toilet. Both toilet seats won't stay lifted because our current flush handles stick out too far on the front of the toilet. ... show more

    • Not a good value
Color: White
This toilet seat is certainly serviceable, but not worth the premium price. The hinge mechanism is unnecessarily complex, leading to a somewhat wiggly seat (when noone is sitting on it); not a big problem, but annoying. Also, the "slow close" feature is so slow that if you want the lid closed before flushing, you need to push it down by hand (unless you don't mind waiting around for an inordinate amount of time). The installation instructions were not great. In particular, the diagram of the hinge mechanism showed it positioned opposite to the way it needs to be. On the plus side, removal of the seat for cleaning was very easy. ... show more

    • Cutting costs I guess?
Color: White
I do have to say I love the original one that came with my toilet. (My fault it broke). I also love the mounting system. As others have said, this replacement is thinner, cheaper, lighter than the original that came with my toilet a few years back. The slow closing mechanism is weaker. Time will tell but I don’t have a good feeling. ... show more
