Can connect 1 Monitor to 2 Laptops with a shared mouse and keyboard. You plug the HDMI out to the monitor and connect the HDMI In and USB in to your laptop. For newer laptops which only have USBC you will need a small adapter which has USBC In and a HDMI Out and USB Out.

    • Does what it should at a bargain price
Using this to switch between my personal desktop and my work laptop. Very small, easy to set up, and works as expected. Note: The HDMI/USB-A split double plug that goes into your device does not have a lot of cable from the split, so you'll need an extender on one of them to reach if they're far apart. They're on opposite sides on my laptop, so I used an extender on the USB. Also my monitor doesn't have HDMI port, and initially video out did not work for me with a USB->DP converting cable (video cables are not included). From what I gather this may be a conflict with the two standards, not an issue with the device. I switched the cable out for an HDMI->DVI converting cable and it worked. ... show more

    • worked great for 3 weeks but it is not working now.
It stopped working. It has a glitch, I guess. Both lights are on. The switch is hung or something. it may just be my devis. It lasted for 3 weeks, maybe. I worked great till that point, but it is not working at this point. I tried to unhook it and reinstall it, but it still has the same issue. it may just be mine. I loved that I just needed to stick my remote mouse in, and it worked. I really did like the dives while it worked. ... show more

It has been great so far, only used it for 1 week. The quality is good and the price is just right. I had a hard time getting it to work, but I think it was my monitor, it would not switch from VGA to HDMI. Once I disconnect the VGA from the monitor, everything worked perfect. Really like the remote

The keyboard and mouse seamlessly switch between devices as advertised. Unfortunately only one device picks up the video and not the other (laptop working fine, PC does not show video). Tried restarting both devices, unplugging and replugging cords and no luck. Video only shows on PC for a few moments while booting up then shuts off. ... show more

Works well out of the box. Used it daily over a month now. Time for switching is short but noticeable. Not a big issue. Since I installed, there were a handful of instances when I saw the blue screen of death in Windows. Easy to setup, works well. The "remote" button (wired) is a nice feature so kvm itself doesn't need to sit on desk. I didn't realize how nice that is until I had it.
