I'm 5.5 so this sits a little higher than I'm used to but I was considering getting older and guest that are taller or have disabilities (bad hips/knees) in which a taller stool is more practical. They love it. I love it. There isn't a lot of water in the stool but wow, it's got a powerful flush! I like that water isn't wasted. I searched hours online and did so many comparisons and this was the winner. I love the cleanliness of the silhouette and how easy it is to clean behind the seat and that the bolts on the bottom are concealed. Would buy again. ... show more

Heck, who would have figured toilets had improved so much.....I did not have a clue until I started researching them. I am a nurse and keeping "it" clean is very important to me. This toilet is so easy...no little nooks and crannies...just smooth sides/front. I thought I would hate the plastic toilet seat but the soft closing feature makes it worth its weight in gold!!! If you are short (like me) make sure your legs are long enough because it is taller than a standard toilet.....but as I know from nursing a 'taller seat' is much easier to sit on or get up from when you are older. The flushing part is 100% better than a standard type and is water saving at the same time. GREAT SHAPE and sexy for a toilet...ha! ... show more

My wife wanted this because of the ease of cleaning. I liked it because we have a narrow bathroom and I wanted a smaller looking toilet. When it arrived from Amazon UPS the package was in great condition and the toilet arrived undamaged. After unwrapping and installing the toilet I have to say that it is the best looking commode we have ever seen. It is also the most quiet flushing and filling toilet I have ever heard. The flush is fast and powerful. The installation is a little harder because of the blind holes but it is well worth the effort. The toilet sits up higher and the tank is narrower than your regular toilets. It looks very clean and elegant. We just LOVE this!!! ... show more

I love this toilet. It has a few must haves for me: 1) Made in America, 2) smooth skirt (the part that is under the bowl, covers the bolt holes so any "misses" by my 6-year old and it goes onto the floor which is much much easier to clean up rather than getting into all the nook and crannies of the bolts, etc., 3) one piece, so no where for "accidents" to go around the seat. Again, for me a must have with younger kids or anyone who seems to need that extra protection :-) It's very nice looking, very modern and really just looks great. This toilet looks great, and uses surprisingly little water. It flushes quickly and with little noise. So far, there has been no need to "double flush" it.

After less than two years of use, the slow close toilet seat lid cracked straight through. This was in a bathroom that is rarely used. When we contacted American Standard to replace, we were accused of sitting on the toilet seat causing it to crack and they would not replace. I will never buy an American Standard product again. Also, the toilet does not flush nearly as well as our Toto. Terrible customer service. ... show more
