The Cadet PRO Extra-Tall 19” High Elongated Toilet, without seat, from American Standard is 2½” taller than our chair-height toilet. The 19-in. bowl height is especially welcome as it makes it more comfortable to sit and stand, enhances access, helps solve mobility concerns, and maximizes comfort for taller individuals. Designed for power and high efficiency, the Cadet Extra- Tall toilet uses 1.28 gpf/4.8 Lpf, 20% less water usage than a standard toilet. Toilet seat not included, sold separately.

The toilets i ordered were delivered in good condition in LARGE boxes, there is a lot of packing material to dispose of. The toilets are truly extra tall and as such take a bit of getting used to. I have bad knees and they are a godsend. The standard chair height just didn't do it for me. My guests visiting complain its too tall. They do flush well and are easy to clean. Been installed a few weeks, they are heavy so be prepared to muscle them into position, if you don't own a toilet jack. I suggest a good seat that's soft close and take your time on the install. Black Friday pricing knocked like $50 off the price, still at full price they are a good buy. The inside of the tank has standard fluid master parts, no fancy pressure accumulators as big orange version has. You can rebuild the inside of this for a few bucks fast, big orange is like $160 or 75% of a new throne..........My personal suggestion is a toto toilet seat, like $50 and the wax ring imbedded in the blue rubber seal, its a clean neat install. You may need a slightly longer water supply as the tank sits higher than many toilets. AS supplies a plastic tool to aid in mounting the tank to bowl. THIS TOOL IS INVALUABLE, their toilets are infamous in that they bury the bolts in a cumbersome orientation ........i personally mount tanks before i place a toilet, just less bull..... later on and this tool is great . AS ill say A++++ on this. coming from a guy who used to use gerber and or toto in my rental properties........ I'm out of that in retirement, but like this toilet. ... show more

I recently had knee replacement surgery and needed a taller toilet. I previously had a Kohler in the bathroom my wife designated as mine. It was a great looking toilet, but plugged up every other use (I’m old). We have an American Standard in a downstairs bathroom near my man cave, which I’ve never plugged. Thus, I bought this tall one. In over two weeks of use, it has never plugged. The flush is really strong and swirls around the bowl in a manner that really cleans the bowl. ... show more

What a piece of garbage. Used it for three weeks before it started leaking, a crack in the tank was the culprit. Of course after weeks I threw the packaging away. I will never have an American Standard product in my house again.

This review is for the Cadet Pro Oval [not round] toilet. My local [Orange] retailer had no inventory and the other [Blue] retailer doesn't even market a toilet with my requirements. So finding it available through Amazon made my day. The toilet arrived in perfect condition inside sustainable packaging. It works as advertised; flush cycle sound seems unique with quite a vacuum that's claimed to suck down multiple que ball sized items simulating a heavy load with each flush. I needed a handicap toilet. With an extra handicap detachable seat on top this provides my elderly handicapped mother enough height so that she leans on it and does not have to plop down and risk another fracture. Perfect like this for her for emptying liquids. But she needs a stool to allow the feet to rest so she can do business comfortably. For a normal person - 5'8" -this would be a tad heigh. The toilet is definitely very tall. I usually buy chair-height toilets, but this one is even higher than that. If you’re under 6 feet tall, there’s a good chance your feet might not fully touch the floor when sitting, which can feel a little awkward. The height might be great for taller people, though. On the positive side, the flushing power is really strong and works very well. It clears the bowl efficiently and I haven’t had any clogging issues so far. Installation and overall build quality seem solid. Functionally, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Aside from the extra height, I don’t really have any complaints about the performance. Overall, it’s a good toilet, just be aware that it sits much taller than typical chair-height models. ... show more
