You can swap it with a new one in no time - just a few simple steps, and you're good to go. This is the part you don't want to run out of, so ensure you always have a spare handy. Do you know what that orange thing on your Glowforge head is? It's not just a cool-looking accessory; it's a vital part of your laser cutter. It's called a protective window, and it helps keep your mirrors and optics clean and safe from dust and dirt. You don't want those nasty particles to mess up your laser beam, do you? That's why you must ensure your protective window is always in good shape and screwed in properly. It's easy to remove and replace. Just twist the black ring around it, and voila! If you want to keep your Glowforge in tip-top shape, you need to take care of this little orange window. It's the one with the silver ring around it, on the left side of your machine. It protects your mirrors and optics from dust and dirt that could damage them. To install it, screw it into the silver box, and you're good to go! If you're worried about damaging the mirror in your laser head, don't be. It's tucked away safely from any dust or scratches. But if something does happen to it, you can easily swap it with a new one. This replacement mirror fits perfectly in your printer head and works like a charm.
