I have had two of these for 2 years now! I bought them for my son's graduation party! The first time putting it up was a bit challenging, just because I had no clue as to how! ( you spread out the legs, snap in the tabs on the legs into the holes on the upper frame after extending the whole thing in all directions. Once you get those snapped in, put the canopy on..the upper spoke thingies are on a spring so you can pull them down to get it over, definitely a chair is helpful. Then you can extend the legs to the height you want!) It takes two people but is relatively simple and goes up fast. The quality is nice! Be careful of corners..I accidentally ripped one a tiny bit..but it was more my fault than the quality. It is fabric after all. I have also used these for camping! I had one trip where i used both together..using zip ties to hold the inner posts to each other..it was fantastic. It got pretty windy and the corners came up a bit..but we managed to re-secure them and they kept all of us dry in a pretty heavy rain! I absolutely am thrilled i got these..they have come in handy many times. The frames compared to some others i have seen are hefty and sturdy. They are heavy...so if you aren't that strong it might be an issue..i am a 51 year old woman that lifts weights...so i can manage them on my own..but honestly most women won't be able to lift them on their own.. I think in a pinch, now that i have put them up many times..i might even be able to do them by myself....but teenage sons come in handy for spreading out the frame..lol A metal spoon comes in handy when taking it back down to push in the little tabs..it hurt my fingers. I've owned and used this tent for about two years. I use it for events that I attend as a vendor. It's pretty heavy, but manageable to carry by yourself when folded up. I keep the top on when I fold it up with no issues. You really need at *least* 3 people to open this tent up. I was able to open it just using one other person, and it was a huge pain. If you have four people, it won't be an issue at all. I'm pretty rough on everything I own and this has stood up to the abuse. Due to the age, there are some small tears where the Velcro attaches, but that's understandable. Keep in mind, in high wind, this thing will take off. Trust me. Anchor it down or you'll be chasing it. I will most certainly buy another one of these. ... show more

PLEASE read through to updates at the end. --- O boy - where to start. I'm rather disappointed. It is a bit rusty brand new and in some places the powder coating is rubbed off and the metal is rusting. I'm going to put grease on it and that will help but should not be this way. VERY hard to set up. It is very heavy. You NEED more than 2 people: (maybe after I grease it up it will be easier - but again, should not have to do that.) The canopy fabric was the most disappointing - one use at it has holes in it - calm sunny day - no wind, no rain. I think that it may be dry-rotted. The corners ripped right through - I am going to have to purchase a new top. The top is also just sitting up there with some velcro - there are no tabs or fasteners, or strings to attach weights to like with 10X10 canopies. It comes with "stakes" which are just construction nails - not long enough or strong enough to do anything - a joke really. I have contacted the manufacturer through amazon, but with the quality of the product as it is (poor) I really don't expect to hear back from them. It did not come with any instruction on how was the best way to put it up, no care instructions, no contact information, no warranty information - nothing. It should be under some sort of warranty. I may just have to cut my losses and get another better one from a different manufacturer. I really regret this purchase. UPDATE: I upped my rating from 2 to 3 stars. The seller (Kevin) did contact me back about the problems and has told me not to worry and they will make it right. They asked for pictures of the damaged areas and I set them. I will update when the issue is resolved. UPDATE 2: The pictures did not go through the amazon system because it cannot handle that much data (amazon seriously?). Kevin was very nice on the phone and is shipping me a tent, and a shipping label for return of the other one. I am up-rating from 3 to 4 stars. We are also getting better at setting it up. We can do it now with 2 adults and a 9 and 10 year old. But still you need more than 2 people. ... show more

    • Very useful for my Boy Scouts Troop Camping Trips

I am using my canopy a lot for my Boy Scout Troop camping trips lately since I bought it in 2016. It was very useful over my tables, chairs and cooking patrol box and allow me to watch my Scouts around me. I have no problems in setting up and taking down with the fabric to take home to dry it out before storage for the next campout. Wonder if the seller will post replaceable tent (fabric) in case the original fabric wears out? ... show more

    • Better than we expected
We had zero problems with this tent. After a little issue with the shipping company (which the tent company immediately sent out another package), my husband and I practiced putting it up and seeing how it worked... Then the day of our party hubs was able to put it up by himself, no problem. Our backyard is like a wind tunnel, so we just screwed it straight to the deck. The structure is sturdy enough, but the canopy deteriorate within a month and starts falling apart, might be suitable for indoor use but definitely can not withstand the direct sun and outside weather, even the mild condition.
