  • Excellent Heat Consuctivity
This thermal paste drastically improved the performance of my cpu and dropped my average cpu temperature. Very easy fix for a low cost.

  • Lowered temps in my gpu!
My gpu is a Geforce RTX 2070, (blower style) so it pumps out heat like you wouldn't believe. I decided to repaste it as it is a 5yr old card now. My temps were averaging 78-79C and would begin thermal throttling at the 81C mark. Now, with this new paste, I am seeing an average of 76C with peak closer to 79C. Very rarely does it thermal throttle now, though I still prefer to Undervolt so that it doesn't get close to that temperature limit. ... show more

Whether it's for PC components, CPUs, GPUs, laptops, PS4, or any cooling apparatus, this thermal paste delivers on its promise of ultimate performance. If you're in search of a thermal paste that not only works well but also provides a substantial quantity for multiple uses, the AMeCh SGT-4 is a solid investment. Its ease of use, effectiveness, and generous quantity make it a go-to choice for maintaining optimal temperatures in a variety of devices. ... show more

  • good budget paste
We'll see how it holds up in the long run, but this thermal paste reminds me of much more expensive brands. It has a nice consistency—not too runny, not too thick—and it seems to hold a nice bond with the heatsync—I like to apply the paste, tighten the heatsync, and then remove it to make sure it is evenly applied. I've only been running it for a week, but it seems to perform as well as the others have. Time will tell how long it holds up, so I'll report back after a few months. ... show more

  • Great quality thermal paste for enthusiasts
As someone who has probably spent more time than they should when it comes to researching and finding the best thermal paste for CPUs, I've often just stuck to the same pastes everyone else in the enthusiast space has used. I've used Kryonaut, MX-4, MX-5, and Syy 157, and the SGT-4 paste is as good as it gets. I don't have an expensive setup to do any sort of scientific testing in regards to how well this paste works compared to these other pastes, however from what I have experienced so far, this paste is superior to Kryonaut in every way while trading blows with the Syy 157. I installed the paste by spreading it using the included spatula and I had no issues doing so, and I did not have to warm up the paste either which is nice. I'm curious to see how it will hold up in the long run, especially when it comes to the pump-out effect, but so far I have high hopes. ... show more

  • A fresh application gives similar results as my usual compound
The short version is that it works fine for a budget thermal paste. Longer version is that, at least when both are freshly applied, the SGT-4 performs generally the same as my usual paste which is a widely used, readily available, non-conductive non-capacitive option in the good-but-wallet-friendly category. When comparing individual heavy-load rise-over-idle temps across 4 cores at 4 different overclocks/voltages (16 comparisons), they were equal 11 times, the SGT-4 had a larger rise 3 times, and a lower rise 2 times. The bag the tube comes in says that it is non-conductive, however it does not mention being non-capacitive, and did not have any data printed on either it or the tube, and did not include a datasheet. Due to that, I would be cautious about using it on direct-die, direct-package, or other applications where it may be able to reach electrical contacts or nearby components. ... show more

  • Slightly worse than Arctic MX-6, but also cheaper
Tested this alongside the Arctic MX-6 and the 3KS thermal paste, with a Ryzen 5 7600X paired with a Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX on stock power and standard fan curve settings, PBO disabled, 32GB of Crucial DDR5 memory at 5200mhz EXPO 1 setting, cooled with a Zalman CNPS9X CPU cooler. This paste maxed out running Cinebench R23 at 84.8C, while the Arctic MX6 was 84.3C; max power draw was similar at 78.5W on this SGT-4 paste and 78.2W on the Arctic MX6, so boosting power draw was similar between the 2 CPUs, which means that the temps would be very similar. The price is very competitive, at the time of this review it's $6 for 6g of paste, which is cheaper than MX-6. It is similar in price w/ Arctic MX-4, but this paste does also include a plastic card and spreader spatula, so price is slightly more competitive than even MX-4. It's definitely on the thinner end of thermal pastes, not as thin as Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, but not as thick as Gelid GC Extreme. Overall, not a bad paste. ... show more

  • Does its job to help cool your heat sensitive equipment
Very easy to use as with most thermal pastes. Definitely works to help transfer heat away from my CPU to my heatsink and fan. Works like a charm. I also love that it is non-conductive, so if I accidentally put on too much, it shouldn't destroy any equipment.
