This is my second Ambition machine. Started with a Soldier then purchased some big names to see what the hype was about.. i must say from my 3 years of professional experience, i could have saved 2 grand! These machines work just as good for daily drivers IN THE RIGHT HANDS.. it’s the Painter NOT the Paint brush.. & it took me a while to realize this. So let me save you some money, these machines are being manufactured for less than 1/10th the price.. even if it only lasted me 3 months, it pays for itself after 1 session lol. The “Torped” was slimmer than i expected upon inspection, coupled with a short Kuark RCA battery by Ambition its about the same size as my Flux and Power wand.. i love that i can fully take it apart in order to PROPERLY sanitize.. which unfortunately is not talked about enough in this industry at the moment🤷🏻♂️. The 5.0 cam is a bit punchy for my taste but blasts in lines. The 4.0 pre installed cam runs BEAUTIFULLY and shades like butter, but i found the 4.5 cam to be my personal favorite.. i can lay down lines, stipple with zero snags & pack any skin with ease. For $69 BUY THIS MACHINE..will it last forever? NO.. but no machine will, and i have less issues with these than i have had with big name brands which says a lot.. Enjoy the aluminum Gold finish, Hollow cup motor with easy interchangeable stroke design, CLICK GRIP, Ease of cleansing, Size & Power, Even reminds me of Cheyenne style grips. If you’re not on the “brand bandwagon” & have knowledge of tattooing don’t be scared to give the Torped a go! It’s a solid machine & im pretty impressed after 3 months of use with quality needle cartridges. ... show more

    • Good little machine
Size: 32MM Color: Rose Red
I had been told about the ambition machines from a shop owner friend of mine. He said this machine works just as well as the $400 comparable machines and said everyone in his shop has switched to using these machines. Now these guys are all some damned good artists and produce amazing work so if they are vou hing for these machines.... I went ahead and ordered one figuring why not give it a shot? When it came in, I was pleasantly surprised to see the extra cams for different throw lengths as well as a few spare parts just in case. Plus a nifty little case to keep it all together. If you're anything like me, stuff can easily get lost in your kit. I set it up and gave it a little run through just to see how it ran and how it felt. VERY little vibration and super quiet. It also lays down some nice lines and shades like a dream. All I had to change was the speed. The only con I would give e is that rhe power cord that attached to the machine was a little anug and initially I didn't have it plugged in all the way so I thought there was some issues. But that was all on me. Be sure to get that clip cord all the way on there. Over all, this was worth the money. Great little machine especially for the price. I give e it 2 enthusiastic thumbs up ... show more

    • Shorts out after 2 weeks
Size: 28MM Color: Black
I would give this zero stars if I could. I have repurchased the 28mm 3 times thinking I was getting just a lemon of a machine but after 6 months, after 1 month, after 3 months, they've all started making a grumbly sound and shorting out on me mid tattoo. This last time it happened in only 2 weeks so I'm within return window to send it back. Unbelievable. Would not recommend. ... show more

    • Very Impressive Machine!

Amazing machine... I've been tattoing for 15+ years, and I'm very pleased with were machines are going. This comes from a guy who swore he would never lay down his coil machines. Once I got the ambition in my hands, it was over from there. Great lightweight machine, fits in my hand with the battery feeling supported and not hanging over the back side of my hand. Machine feels very balanced in many ways... the plunger seems to be counter weighted which makes for a nice smooth quite machine, no vibrations. It also feels balanced in your hand. Some of these new pen style machines can be a bit long and tend to put the heavy battery hanging over your hand. When working in certain positions can be awkward, however with the ambition torped it's extremely balance, the battery is extremely light weight (the bigger battery of the two they offered) and it just wants to rest in your hand. The cases they come in are extremely nice also, I made the mistake of ordering my machine and battery separate, so i didn't get the case that they both come in together, however i did get extremely nice cases for both the battery and the pen individually. So my next purchase with be another ambition torped with 2 batterys in hopes that it comes in a large case together. Overall I'm super impressed with this machine and it's capabilities with 4.0-4.5-5.0mm stroke. Can't fully speak on battery life yet, but lasted 5 hrs with no problem and had life left for sure. ... show more

    • Not bad....
Size: 32MM Color: Gold
We'll see how long she will survive. Already completed 20 tattoos since I received it and she's been strong. I like trying the cheapys to see what's out there and for 70 bucks she's competing with some higher priced machines........ For now. For the ppl complaining about the grub screw stripping out, don't use the allen key provided. Find one that fits snug before changing cams, use your brain. As for carts, I did find the lower end carts I use on fake skins fit very loose turning the machine into a gun shooting carts across the room. The name brands I use on skin fit very nice with no worries. We'll see how long she holds up. ... show more

    • Sweet little machines for the price!
Size: 32MM Color: Gold
I’m not sure of the durability of these just yet but so far I’m very impressed by them. I changed one to the 5.0 and left one with the 4.0mm stroke. I have been looking for a pen machine with some “Give” or “Bog” after using traditional machines for the first 28 years of my career. Somehow these have “it” and for this ridiculously low price even. These machines have a nice tactile feel to them in the skin, they do have some vibration to them but thickening up your wrap will nullify most of it. I think some people might not like the “Give” they have since they are more used to direct drive pen types that have zero give. These are the closest pen machines I have used so far that resemble tradition long throw machines. I’ll update this review after a few months of use. ... show more

Size: 32MM Color: Black
Review Image by Jason Dombrosky
This is the second machine I bought from ambition, because I liked the first one I bought so much. This one has different stroke cams from 4.0 to 5.0, and the longest stroke really punches some solid lines. Definitely comparable to one of those Bishop wand Packers. These machines are super strong and smooth. And at about 1/5 of the price of an FK irons machine. These machines are highly recommended by a lot of professional artists. ... show more

    • Machine it self is great
Size: 32MM Color: Black
The machine it self is great it’s a power liner forsure. The company not so thorough , I’ve ordered 2 so far , the first machine came and the screw for the cams was stripped so I was unable to replace the cams , I messaged the company and the sent me a whole new motor , so customer service is pretty good. But I ordered a 2nd machine and they sent me all the wrong cams for it . Seems like they can’t get one to me that’s perfect ready to use out of the box . ... show more
