I’ve had this lamp since 2018 and it’s still going strong. It doesn’t make any noise. Has multiple settings and can swivel on different angles. It looks like they aren’t selling it anymore. If it comes back run and purchase this!

This was a GREAT buy for the money. No more leaning over to find the pull switch or turn knob on my bedside lamp. I just swat it on the front, and the light turns on or off! There are several lighting modes to fit your mood or project. It even works as a night light on a low setting. The base is sturdy without being heavy or bulky and the slim profile of the lamp keeps you from knocking it over like you would with bigger table lamps. I love that the light swivels around and the extension flips up. I wish it flipped up more, but it's still a great buy and does almost everything I need it to do. ... show more

For one who dislikes "assembling" items, this lamp is perfect. There is minimal assembling involved. The lamp works perfectly in each of its settings. Since I read, read, read, read this setting is the one I use most of all. For each setting the lighting is adjustable as well~~~excellent lighting~~~easy on the eyes. Based upon the product description and readers' comments I felt confident that this lamp would be perfect for my needs so I purchased two of them. ~~~so-o-o glad I did!     • somewhat ugly, but good lighting variety
This lamp has lots of options for brightness and color configuration. As far as I can tell, it has a couple rows of the bright blue-white LED's and a couple of the amber-white LED's. The main lighting options are combinations of the amber and the blue rows. The theory is that some of these color configurations are more suitable to study reading and others to bedtime reading. In general, I think this is useful. I use the dimmest amber setting in bed and I use the "study" setting when I don't want to get sleepy. I would expect that most people are going to find two settings out of the 4 that they will use and then just alternate. Being able to dim and brighten is nice. The lamp itself is notable for being somewhat ugly--at least according to my wife. It's bigger and less elegant than it appears in the online photos. My one complaint--or request for more functionality--is on the sleep timer. The feature itself is nice, but it could use a few more settings. Right now it lasts for 1 hour. I would love to have 15 or 30 minute increments, and I would love to extend the max time to 2 or 3 hours. The feature would be a lot more useful with this small tweak. ... show more

    • Functionality meets style in this great minimal desk lamp
I have been looking for a desk lamp of this style with great lighting options, and after going through several lamps like this, I finally found a keeper! This lamp looks great with beautiful alloy construction. It is larger than other lamps of similar style, but its slim base and frame makes it seem less obtrusive. With it being listed at 14 W, I was hoping for it to be a bit brighter, but its great brightness range and various lighting modes make easy to overlook. Overall, this lamp is great aesthetically and functionality wise. I just realized, that when I plug in my phone to charge into the USB port on the back, you can occasionally hear a high pitched noise. It gets quite annoying after a while. ... show more

I got this same lamp from another seller on Amazon 3 years ago. I wanted another one for my new office, and found it here. Same wonderful lamp--I can change temperature of color (cooler, "bluer" light, warmer "yellow" and bright white), AND change the brightness of each color. This flexibility is wonderful, so I can read, match colors for art projects, or leave the light low just to relax. And I love the USB charger, very convenient...and the style is attractive without taking up much space. My old lamp is still going strong after 3 years, so expect this one will be long-lasting too. Best I've Tried So Far. After buying and returning two different desk lamps, this one is a keeper. I just wanted something that was bright, could charge my phone and wouldn't break. This lamp is made of metal or aluminum and doesn't feel cheaply made. The other two I bought felt flimsy. Also the fugetek lamp has the usb port which was a must. My phone is always low, so charging while studying is a big plus. Lastly, this lamp has different styles of light you can change, depending on if you are reading or just want take a nap. Overall, it's a good lamp, I wish the cord was a little longer, but compared to what else it out there, this lamp is solid. ... show more
